She doesn't kiss me on the mouth anymore
It was one mistake, a mistake Emma had made when they were seventeen years old...Ten years on and Regina has only just found out. She's too in love to leave, but she's too hurt to go back to how they used to be.
They no longer kissed eachother on the lips, when Emma tried to Regina would turn her face making Emma's lips land on her cheek.
Cause it's more intimate, than she thinks we should get
There was no sex either, no hand holding. Nothing like that and Emma was fine with it...All she wanted was Regina...But she could feel her slipping away and she was trying her best to keep her.
She doesn't look me in the eyes anymore
It hurts Emma when Regina won't even look in her the eyes when they speak. Regina always looks down or straight in front of her, never at Emma. It breaks her heart to look at Emma and to realise what she has done and that she has kept it to herself for ten years.
Too scared of what she'll see, somebody holding me
The last time Regina looked into Emma's eyes, all she could see was the brunette slut that was supposed to be her best friend. Holding Emma, touching Emma. It angered her. It broke her heart.

Every morning, Emma would wake up without Regina beside her and this is when she would cry. Regretting what she did. She was young and very stupid...Because of what she did...She lost the love of her life.
Said that we're not lovers, we're just strangers
Regina had threw her wedding ring at Emma and never put it back on since. She looked straight into her eyes, tears pouring from them and shook her head.
"You're not who I fell for...."
Emma covered her mouth, hoping to stop the sobs escape her lips as she had her daily morning cry.
"I don't know you at all, I thought I did but I don't. We can never go back to how we used to be."
Emma shook her head she cried harder.
"I promise to make things right. I promise to earn your trust. I love you Regina." Emma slowed her breathing trying to stop herself from crying even more. "I love you."
