I lay alone awake at night
Regina was layed in bed, thinking about Emma. How she sacrificed herself...But why? Her happiness didn't matter to Emma...Or did it?
Sorrow fills my eyes but I'm not strong enough to cry
Regina couldn't cry...She wouldn't allow herself to. Emma wouldn't cry for her. Tears threatend to escape but Regina blinked quickly causing them to disappear.
"It should have been me." She muttered to herself over and over.
I'm left with no shoulder
As much as Regina hated to admit it, Emma was her rock. She was there to help Regina, and now that she is The Dark One...Who will be there? Emma was the only one to truely understand her.
But everybody wants to lean on me
She needed to be strong. For Henry. Henry needed her. More than ever, but everyone else needs her too...They once hated her...Now they need her. She has to be there for Snow...But she doesn't know if she can. She after all did try to kill her on multiple occasions.
I guess I'm their soldier
Regina sighed and turned over, people are calling her The New Savior...But is that even possible? Regina can't do this...If she doesn't believe in herself, how can someone else?
But who's gonna be mine?
Regina needed a hug. She needed someone to tell her it's gonna be alright. She needed someone to believe in her, for her. There's only one person she wanted. But she couldn't have her.
Who's there to save the hero

After she saves the world
The tears fell from Regina's eyes. She couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't save them from Emma. She couldn't save Emma from The Darkness. She's not a hero. She never was and she never will be.
I bottle all my hurt inside,
I guess I'm living in lie.
Without thinking she throws the glass that was on the side and threw it against the wall. Emma Swan wasn't here and she was making her feel things. Anger, hurt...Love. Wait...Love? Regina wasn't feeling love towards Emma...Or was she?
Regina put her head in her hands and cried harder. All she wanted was for Emma to be here. To wrap her arms around her. To...Kiss her....
What can bring me back to life?
"I need you Emma...I need you." Regina cried to herself.
A gust of cold air surrounded Regina and she sat up quickly.
"I'm here Regina." A familiar voice whispered from beside her.
Slowly turning her head to her right, she couldn't believe what...Who she saw.
I've given too much of myself
And now it's driving me crazy
She must be going mad...There was no way she was really here.
"I'm really here Regina." Emma whispered soothingly.
"How?" Regina asked confused.
Emma chuckled lightly.
"I'm The Dark One silly." Emma smiled.
"You're just my imagination." Regina snapped.
Emma smirked and gently pressed her lips against Regina's.
"I don't think that was your imagination." Emma smiled.
"No...You're really here." Regina gasped.
Sometimes I wish someone would
Just come here and save me
Save me from myself
Regina started to cry...For herself. For Emma. The people who she thinks she'll let down.
Emma quickly wrapped her arms around Regina and held her.
"I can't do it Emma. I can't be the one to save you from The Darkness." Regina cried into Emma's chest.
"You can do it...I believe in you Regina Mills. And so does Henry...And so does everyone in this town. We all believe in you. You just need to believe in yourself." Emma told her sternly.
"I...I love you Emma." Regina confessed.
"And I love you Regina. You can do it. You CAN and you WILL save me." Emma smiled before kissing Regina one last time and disappearing into the night.
"I will save you Emma. I WILL. I promise."
