The most fantastic date

A/N: sorry for the long pause, had a writer's block I'll try and update this story often

Yugi woke up, he looks at the time, sits up, rubs sleep from his one eye. He stretches and goes to the bathroom to get ready for the day' today's the day!! Yami's and I's first date I am so excited, wonder where we'll be going' Yugi giggles and showers. As he was in the shower, his phone went off signaling he had a message. Yami was already awake and was making sure the date with Yugi would go right. The restaurant they were going to had a band and people could dance, he sent a message to yugi' are you excited for the date tonight?' He waits for Yugi's response, it was twenty minutes later his phone goes off' of course I am!! Sorry was in the shower, this will be the best first date Yami!' Yami chuckles and takes out a dress shirt and pants sets them out, he wanted six to get here by fast. He wanted to see Yugi, though they didn't say that they had to wait till their date to see each other' what do you want to do till the date tonight?' Yugi had to think, what can they do till their date' to the arcade and duel each other?' Yami smirks that sounded like fun since no one has ever beaten him in a duel.' You're on Yugi, see ya there' he grabs his deck, places it in his card holder that was attacked to a belt and headed downstairs and out the door he knew his father was at the museum.

Yugi got to the arcade first and ordered himself a sundae, took a seat and organized his deck and making up some strategies while he waited for Yami. Once Yami got there they exchanged their deck, shuffled them and handed them back. It was a close duel, Yugi had 500 Life Points and Yami had 1200 Life Points they both had their own Dark Magician's on the field, Yami smirks' sorry Yugi, but this is game, Dark Magician! Attack his Dark Magician!' Yugi smirks and did mirror force, it sent Yami's Dark Magician's attack back at him, dropping Yami's Life Points. Yami smiles' good game Yugi,' Yugi smiles and nods, gathering his cards and shuffling them. He felt happy to beat Yami, it was fun to have a challenger. His friends were still learning Duel Monsters so they were still rusty about it. The two just played games at the arcade all day till it was 5, Yami walked Yugi home' see ya at 6' Yami smiles and heads home, Yugi smiles and hurries inside to shower and find some nice clothes, he didn't have much but luckily he had a dress shirt, pants to wear and black shiny shoes. He hurries into the shower, singing in his head, he hoped this date will go right and that he won't embarrass Yami because of his deafness. Once out of the shower Yugi dried his hair and tried some styles to look extra nice but none were good so he just kept it sticking up in its usual fashion. Yugi got dressed and looked at himself in the mirror, he didn't look half bad. He put some cologne on and heads downstairs. Solomon was on the couch watching TV, he looked at Yugi and smiles' you look really nice Yugi, have fun but get home before midnight' Yugi smiles and nods, kissing his grandfather's cheek and heads outside to wait for Yami. He may be twenty years old but his grandfather still treats him like he is still in high school though, it did get annoying at times but he knew it was just how his grandfather showed he cared for him and that he just wants him safe. Yami was sitting in a limo he rented, waiting till it stopped at the shop. He got out and opened the door, bowing, Yugi's eyes widen' a limo!?' He never rode in one before so this was going to be fun and interesting, he climbs in and looks around, it was so big all their friends could fit in here. He gets startled when a banquet of Sakurasous were put in his line of view but regains his composer and smiles taking the flowers and smells them, these are his new favorite flower, the first one was Sakuras but now since Yami introduced him to Sakurasous, he loved them more than the pink flowers that grow in the spring and fall like snow. Yami has the driver go to the restaurant where they would be eating' you look incredibly cute and beautiful' Yugi blushes but smiles' you look very handsome Yami' Yami was wearing a dark red dress shirt, black dress pants and black shoes. His hair was slicked back with a lot of gel so his hair would stay down, he knew he would have to take a long shower to get the gel out. Once at the restaurant he opened the door and helped Yugi out, Yugi stayed closed to Yami. Yami told the waiter that he had a reservation, the waiter nods and leads them to their table, Yami pulls out Yugi's chair for him, he smiles and bows, sitting and allowing Yami to scoot him in. Yami sits on the other side and orders a coke and Yugi signs water to Yami and Yami told the waiter what Yugi wanted. Even though Yugi couldn't hear the band he bet it was all fancy music, Yami smiles and takes Yugi's hand, he blushes. Yami smiled but then frowns' I hope this doesn't offend you Yugi, I wanted it to be a special place and this is a great place to eat and you can dance to the music. But I selfishly brought you here forgotten that you were deaf' Yugi smiles and pats Yami's hand with his own showing him that it was alright, he takes his hands back and signs' I understand Yami sometimes even I forget I am deaf to, though I can't hear the band I bet it is a beautiful melody' Yami smiles, that was what he loved about Yugi, he was understanding and never got mad or offended if you accidentally forget he was deaf. They ordered their food then Yami got up and offered his hand to Yugi indicating he wanted to dance with Yugi. Yugi smiles, takes his hand, Yami leads Yugi close to the stage and started slow dancing. Yugi blushes lightly and smiles at Yami, it has been really sweet and romantic so far. After dancing they head to their table, their food wasn't there yet so they just talked till their food arrived. People did give them weird looks since they were signing with their hands, the people were mostly rich snobby people that don't care about nothing but themselves and money. Yami was never like that, his mother taught him to never gloat about his riches. The food arrived and Yugi ate it happily, it was really good, he never been to any fancy restaurants because he didn't like crowded places and around rich people.

After dinner Yami paid for the food and they headed out, it was still early in the night only 9:15 pm Yami thought of what to do next till he felt Yugi tugging his sleeve, he looked down and saw Yugi pointing to the beach' can we go walking along the water?' Yami smiles and nods. They head down to the beach, Yugi took off his shoes, carried them and walked at the edge of the water, the waves rolled up on shore hitting his feet it was a little cold but not much for frostbites. Yami copied Yugi, took his hand and enjoyed the night sounds around them. Yugi giggles and leans on Yami enjoying this beautiful night with Yami, stops, he makes Yugi stop, he points to the moon' beautiful just like you though you are more beautiful' Yugi blushes, smiles' awe Yami... you are so charming and romantic' Yami and Yugi look at each other with a loving look and slowly leaned in and kissed deeply, Yugi wrapped his arms around Yami's neck and Yami's arms were around Yugi's waist. They then broke apart, Yami wraps his arms around Yugi's waist, picks him up and twirls him around, Yugi does a silent laugh, smiling down at Yami.
