It was around dinner time when Yami decided to take Yugi on a date to cheer him up. Yami sits up slowly, shakes Yugi awake since he fell asleep while laying on Yami's chest, he looks up at Yami and tilts his head cutely. Yami signed" lets go out on a date, get dinner and go for a walk at the park" Yugi smiles and nods happily" that's sounds romantic Yami," Yami winks at him" well I am a romantic kind of guy" he gets up" I'll let you get ready, it's a little chilly out" Yami leaves the room so Yugi could get ready for their date. Yami told Solomon that he was taking Yugi out for dinner and going walking in the park, Solomon nods" ok Yami, just don't have him out late, it is a school night" Yami nods" of course Solomon, he'll be home by 10" the old man nods and smiles" thank you Yami... for being there for Yugi.. he's never been this happy in awhile, it warms my heart that you and your friends befriended him and learned sign language for him." Yami smiles" it is my pleasure Solomon, Yugi is a joy to be around, he's the sunshine in our group even my two psycho friends love him" they laugh a little and turn to the stairs when they heard patters of little feet. Yugi was in a purple sweats and purple hoodie, it looked a little big but to Yami it was adorable. Yami takes Yugi's hand and leads him out to his car, the cool wind blew around them, even with the hoodie and sweats Yugi could still feel the cold air, he snuggles closer to Yami, holding his arm. Yami helps Yugi inside his car, he turns on the heat but making sure it's not too hot for Yugi, he drove them to a Japanese restaurant that they cook the food in front of them. Yugi never went here before but he heard it was really good place with excellent food. Yami leads Yugi inside, the smell of spices and cooked meat hit his nose hard, he smiles, it really smelled good. Yami lead him to the bar so they could watch their food be prepared. Yugi looked at the menu and signed to Yami what he wanted to drink, he nodded and ordered Yugi's drink and his. Yugi looked at the food choices, he looked at Yami' What's good here Yami?' Yami thinks, he has been to this restaurant a few times' I do enjoy the shrimp and fish that they cover in seasoning and teriyaki sauce to' Yugi nods' that sounds really good I'll try that' Yami orders two of the dishes, Yugi watches in awe as the chef cooks their food right in front of them and doing some tricks and making a big fire ball. Yugi watches in awe as the cook did the special tricks, after their dinner was cooked they ate, it was really delicious, Yugi smiles at Yami' Thank you for the best date,' Yami smiled' you're welcome Yugi after this we're going to walk in the park for awhile, I promised your grandpa I would get you home before ten' Yugi nods and ate happily, smiling.

After dinner they walked to the park, held hands and just enjoyed each other's companion, Yugi laid his head on Yami's shoulder well arm since he was short only reaching to Yami's chest. It was a calm peaceful night, Yami wish Yugi could hear the crickets, the owl's hoot but he still loves Yugi with all his heart nothing will not stop making Yami love Yugi. Yami drove Yugi home and gave him a kiss on the forehead' good night Koi' Yugi blushes and signs good night and he went inside, Yami smiles and drove home. He will have to ask Malik and Bakura to help him punish this Ushio for hurting his love, no one hurts his lover and gets away with it.
