Its not that easy

                          "I'm pregnant"

Those are the words that have been running through my mind for the past couple of days. I've been trying to figure it out. My future has flashed before my eyes and I'm sitting here wondering how everything is going to play out and how I'm gonna tell everyone I'm a dad at 16.

My girl is my life and she has been for the past year and a half. But it's how am I gonna afford a baby when my aunt barley affords me and my cousins not to mention the fact that my girl practically lives here because she has some homing issues. I got a lot of family issues that I didn't wanna have to deal with when I decided to bring a baby into the world.

Grace recently found our and told me a couple of days later because she was afraid to tell me. Grace came to me crying and scared for her life with having to tell me the news. The second she handed me that positive pregnancy test in my hand my whole body froze like I turned into a sheet of ice, chills ran through my body and I kind of stifled a laugh at the thought of it being a joke but her bloodshot red eyes and her nervous smile made the gut feeling I had tighten. I knew from that moment that she was scared I was gonna leave her alone with my baby but that's not the reality. I told her everything is gonna be okay cause I'm here and I'm not gonna let anything go wrong. When I said that she seemed to calm down at my words.

           "Jake , Jake" Their was a knock on my bedroom door

           "Ugh" I groaned not wanting to talk to anyone right now

           "Jake open the door" He knocked again

           "What do you want Rico?"

           "Snake is downstairs"

            "What!" I hissed "What is Snake doing at our house"

            "He said he wanted to talk to you and it's not gonna be good"

            "I told Snake I was done"

            "I know but you can't just get out of a gang like that Jake. Your invested into it"

            I pushed past Rico in a fit of rage that Snake was within 50 feet of my house. Your gang leader is not supposed to show up at your door. He is so lucky Grace isn't here cause I'd chain his neck I don't care if he's my leader or not I've always been trouble.

          "Snake what the fuck" I hissed pushing us both outside on the porch

         "Jake where have you been" He said staring at me through his dark sunglasses

         "Where have I been how about we start with why are you at my fucking house. You don't just show up at my crib what if I had my girl here hm?" I shouted

         "Jake don't get an attitude with me or I'll ring your neck right here" He said spitting to the side

         "Then you explain to me why my gang leader is showing up at my fucking door step, my family is inside"

          "Listen Jake cut the shit, where have you been? Why aren't you at any of these meetings we've been having? Rico has been showing up and I ask him where you are and he never gives me a direct answer. Why is Rico lying to me? You are cousins but you are my kids you do not fuck with your gang leader Jake" He said irritated

          "I already fucking told you Snake, I'm done with this gang shit. It's over I have some personal issues that I need to take care of and I can't have this gang shit going on"
