The funeral was just like all the other funerals I've been too before. Rico and I walked through the funeral home doors. All the people here I didn't recognize a lot of them were his family that I never met. I seen Snake across the room with his arm on Blane. Rico and I walked down over to them.

"Miles!" Snake cheered

That nickname always stuck with me and I didn't hate it. This gang shit was over now though so I'm just Jake now. Miles was my nickname since I ran away from the cops for miles before I got away.

"Snake" I said back

"Ah miles I've missed you" Blane smiled pulling me into a hug

Blane and I have been the closest besides Rico when we were in the gang. Blane got into this business got himself in a sticky situation he needed out of and he turned to the gang to get him free.

"How have you been Blane?" I asked

"I've been alright got this roofing job so I make some good money now, I can't believe Poison is really over" He frowned

"Yeah I know it's crazy but I can't anymore I'm a father now Blane I got a daughter at home" I sighed

"Yeah man I heard how's Nevaeh that's her name right?" He asked

"Yo don't be saying her name around these people! How do you know that?" I hissed

"Rico" he said and I looked back at Rico who was having a conversation with someone

"Of course he did" I said rolling my eyes

"Don't worry man your my boy" He smiled

The ceremony was starting and their was an open casket. I really didn't wanna see Aces face again but I got to. Their he was lying down dressed in a nice suit. His earrings in and a chain around his neck. He was the same stupid Ace I killed and I'm glad he's gonna be 6 feet under. We had some good times but he really turned on me in the end.

"Yo bro this shits so weird he's just lying their" Rico cringed

"Yeah I know man he's stone cold dead that fuck" I scoffed

"At least he's gone man no more worries"

We all drove down to the cemetery and this was gonna be the time where he was buried and I can spit on that fucks grave. I did the right thing killing him and now he's never gonna come back and harm my family.

"I hate this we shouldn't be paying this asshole respects" I groaned

"Yeah I know man but theirs nothing we could do we have to be here it's the last time your finally gonna get off the gang" Rico explained

"Yeah am I really?" I questioned

I found it hard to believe that Snake was just gonna let us all go with everything we know and everything we've done.

"Yeah man" He said

Snake kept an eye on all of us the whole time and I don't know why. He was making it seem like he knew something was gonna happen but nobody else knew. I knew how Snake worked and I knew he knew something suspect was going on.

I nudged Rico and he looked at me and then at Snake. He looked around the cemetery and didn't see anything. He shrugged and looked back at them burning Ace into the ground.

I knew something was up and I went over to Blane to see if he knew anything he was having a conversation with some girl. She looked upset as to what happened but Blane looked like he was flirting up a storm with her. Before I could get over their cop cars came flying into the cemetery about 5 cars. Snake spun around and started running towards the woods.

Blane stopped talking to the girl and he looked at me I knew what was gonna happen. The cops have finally caught up to us and if we get caught we're looking at so many charges. Gang activity, robbery, murder. I'd face life.

"Rico run!" I yelled

Rico spun around and seen the cops running after us. We all made a break for it and headed towards the woods where Snake was. I didn't know if we were gonna get away but I couldn't be caught I have a daughter to raise and if I go to jail I'll never see her unless it's behind bars.

"Stop right their!"

I yanked on Rico's tie while we I ran by him. I was praying we weren't gonna get caught everyone seemed to break apart from each other when we got in the woods and all I knew was the cops were hot on my tail.
