Jakes pov
I turned the engine off and sat in the car. Rico looked over at me. We were going to talk to that new gang and see what they were all about. My money from poison has run out and I really need to get a job again or else my baby isn't gonna be eating.
The car doors slammed behind us and my black timbs hit the gravel. I had my gun in my waistband like I always did. My pistol hidden behind my Calvin's. Rico and I walked up the driveway to the front door and knocked.
"Are you Jake and Rico?" Someone asked
"Yes" I said
He opened the door a little more and we stepped inside. The house was pretty nice inside but we were deep into the ghetto. These guys were sitting around a table and I seen someone I knew.
"Hey look who's here" I said nudging Rico
He looked in the direction I was looking in and Ash was sitting in the living room with some meth on the coffee table. He was dressed in This all white outfit. White sweats, white wife beater under a white zip up sweatshirt with a black and white SnapBack backwards on. He was making some sort of sale with these guys. Do they do meth or something?
"Dam Ash" He said clenching his jaw
"I know he's making some sort of play"
"Hey man sorry I got a little held up upstairs" Someone said
He was coming down the stairs. He had this light brown hair kinda spiked up and he was kinda tall. He looked around our age but this must be the leader. He was in these basketball shorts and a white wife beater.
"It's cool" I said
"I'm Blade your-" He said shaking my hand
"Jake and Rico" I said
"Well it's nice to meet you too I'm the leader of Glass" He smiled
He took his shades off and revealed his green eyes. They looked so dark like he was full of secrets. I wasn't sure if this gang was gonna be for us or not. Nothing will ever be poison.
"Yo I need you to come sign off on this"
"Give me a minute guys" He said going over to where Ash was
Ash gathered the rest of his shit and started walking towards the door. Once he got to the island we met eyes and he stopped. He smiled at me and looked like he wanted to say something.
"Can we talk bro" Ash said quietly
I got off the stool and walked outside with him. He was looking at me like he had something he had to tell me.
"What Ash" I said
"You know Blair's baby?" He asked and I nodded
"Well my nephew might actually be my baby, remember when I was talking about that girl I got pregnant it's her"
"What! What about that jessabelle girl?"
"That's another girl that could be pregnant" he admitted
"So your telling me that your brothers baby could be yours because you slept with his girl?" I said shocked
"Yeah man they weren't even dating I didn't know he was fucking her so when she would come around the crib to get high and I guess when they weren't on good terms she would fuck me" He shrugged
"Ash your like 14 she's like 16" I hissed
"Yeah man I know the other girl that could be pregnant is like 17" He shrugged again
"Dude why the fuck do you keep shrugging? Nigga your getting all these older girls pregnant that 17 year old could go to jail because your so underage" I hissed smacking his head lightly
"I know bro but all these older chicks got fat asses and big tits"
"And apparently very fertile" I said rolling my eyes
"I'm sorry dude but that baby kinda looks like me" He sighed
"I haven't really seen him but he looks like Ace man I don't know"
"Ace and I are like fucking twins" he growled
I touch a soft spot when I say anything that's not positive about Ace. I know how these gang families are they are very loyal to the few people who are still in their life.
"Alright man I'll be by later and see the results"
"Alright man"
I went back inside letting the screen door slam behind me. Blade was sitting back at the island talking to rico. I went over and sat next to him and he started talking about the gang and what they are all about. I kinda like their motto but I don't know if this is gonna be good for us.
"Come to a meeting and you'll see how we operate" blade smirked
"Alright when's this meeting?"
"Tomorrow around 6" He replied
"Shit I might be late to that" I groaned
"Why?" Rico asked
"I gotta go to that daddy daughter class" I said rolling my eyes
It was something Grace thought would be good for us. I thought it was cute but I didn't really wanna go I'd rather play with her at my own house.
"It's Alright if your a little late man you got something you need to do I understand" He reassured
"You got kids man?" I asked
"I don't actually the girl I was messing with went behind my back and got an abortion"
"Dam man I'm sorry" I said
I honestly loved my daughter to death. My daughter was the best blessing in my life besides my wife. I am in love with my daughter I would do anything for her. She always looks up at me with those big blue eyes like I'm the world to her. She's my world she's so fragile and needs someone to protect her and I wouldn't let anything happen to her.
"Yeah me too. You have a daughter though right?" He asked
I didn't know how he knew that honestly. I guess I'm out on the street more often and I'm well known. People see me with my daughter and I knew the word was gonna get around eventually but now I need to protect her even more.
"Yeah I do she's gonna be 8 months old next week" I smiled
"Your a lucky man" He winked
