Ash's pov

"King you got a visitor" A guard yelled banging on the metal door

I was asleep in bed because Their wasn't much here to do other then sleep and count the bricks on the wall. The door opened with a loud creak and the beaming light came into the room causing me to close my eyes and hold my hand up to the light.

"Let's go King!" He spat

I stood up and fixed my jumpsuit a little I had it hanging down so I was shirtless.

"Put your uniform on"

I pulled it over my shoulders and left the sleeves rolled up and it unzipped. My cell was so hot sometimes I slept with my boxers on only.

He grabbed the body chains and started latching me up. I hated these things I could barley move. They walked me into an elevator and downstairs to the visiting room. Everyone else got to actually be with their family in their but I was sitting in this cage they locked me in.

"Hey baby" Mia said putting her hand under the little slit in the glass

"This is bullshit" I frowned

"Don't worry man we're gonna get you out of here" Rico smiled

"I have court ina few days hopefully I get off death row"

"We're gonna be Their on trial for you were definitely getting you off death row. We got a really good lawyer" he mumbled a little

"U said really good lawyer? Who?" I asked curious

How they afforded that ?

"This dude we got a hook up through the club" he said

I knew he was talking about the gang. I didn't have much time to talk to them but I wanted to ask about Kamryn.

"Does Kamryn king ring a bell?"

"KK?" He asked

"KK? Who's that?"

"He's the leader of this gang kinda rivals not really though we're on the same side" he shrugged

"He's a gang leader? A good one? Are you sure Kamryn Myers is KK?"

"Blonde blue eyes tattoos?" He asked

"Yeah this cross on his cheek?" I asked

"Yes exactly"

"How's the baby Mia?" I smiled softly

"Hes kicking around" she smiled

"I'm gonna ask them to grant me to be their when he's born if I get off death row" I frowned

"I really hope so"

Mia and I kissed on the glass and it wasn't the same shit at all. I was getting walked back tk death row and I passed Kamryn's cell. They locked me inside mine and I got down on the floor to talk to Kamryn.

"Kamryn" I spoke

Silence. I wanted to talk to him and call him KK but I didn't wanna say that through the drain I wanted to see his reaction.

"Kamryn" I said again

It was barley 8:30 and he was already sleeping? I went over to my bed and Their was hanging on my door.

"Your medicine king" he said handing me a cup with two pills

I've been taking anxiety meds since I was sent up to phych the other day cuz I passed out in the yard and the nurse kept me their for two days with fluids and decided I had anxiety. I actually loved these pills because they really got me fucked up. It was like xans just weaker but still made me high enough to get through it. Having a panic attack was the best shit ever.

It was hard not to talk to Kamryn about it through the drain because I barley ever got to talk to him besides through their. But I went to my bed and fell into a deep sleep.

"King time for your court hearing" the guard said banging on the door

The lock unclasped and the door slid open. I sat up and he was holding the chains out. I changed my uniform into this neon green one they made you wear if you left the building. They were ugly and baggy and made me look like a highlighter.

"Yo ash" Kamryn yelled to me as I passed his door

"Bro Dont worry I ain't gonna forget about you" I winked

They pulled me into the van and drove me off to the court house. They treated me exactly like I was a convict. I was on death row and I was treated like shit. Hopefully they treat u better somewhere else.

"So Mr Ashton King" the judge said reading my file "you were sentenced to death row for the death of Blake"

"Uh yes ma'am" I agreed

"Did you plead guilty?" She asked confused

"No"

"You shouldn't have been put on death row. Your only 15!" She said shocked

"Yes I was kinda shocked by the consequences too"

I turned around to see if Rico and Mia were their but they weren't. I don't think they even knew when I was going to court because I didn't even know.

"Well my friend I'm gonna take you off death row and put you in a level 4 general population which is where the murders are, rapists, mass murders, assault with deadly weapons and armed robbery"

"Thank you your honor" I said holding my hands up

She smiled at me and I was brought back to the jail. They put me in this new area and I was now getting my dinner after I settled into my new room, uniform and of course showered. This new pod was already better.

The food was not that shit they served you on death row it was actual food that was decent. I sat at s table by myself and realized I missed Kamryn KK whatever the fuck his name was I missed him. I threw my spoon down and stormed off into my cell.
