"Woah woah woah, Jake, son" He chuckled

"I'm not your fucking son" I said through gritted teeth

"That's not what you were saying when you were 13"

"I needed you then Snake that's fucking why. I needed a family and you took me in. I was all alone and you did me a favor. I don't fucking need you anymore so leave my fucking family alone" I yelled

It was silent. You could hear my chest rising up and down from yelling. My breath turning into fog when I talked from how cold it was outside. It was nearly Christmas here in Chicago and it was nearly below 20 degrees here. Snake was giving me the dirtiest look I knew he was pissed.

"Listen kid" He snapped grabbing my neck "You got yourself into a lot of shit Jake. You can't just leave this gang like it's a job or something it's your life"

"Get the fuck off me" I yelled ripping his hand off me "this is not my job no more I have a fucking job"

"Being Neveahs daddy" He smirked

"Don't fucking say her name"

"Tell me how sweet your little daughter is"

"Snake I'll pop you right in your fucking face if her name comes out of your mouth one more time" I said pointing at him

"Listen Jake I'm not here trying to fuck with you I'm here because you up and left the gang after you killed Ace-"

"ACE RAPED MY FUCKING GIRl!" I yelled

"I FUCKING KNOW JAKE, and I'm sorry alright I didn't want him to go that far but Ace was a sick motherfucker"

"So why are you really here then Snake I don't give a fuck about Ace he raped my girl and I killed him you act like it's a big deal. We kill people all the time he was just another one on the list" I scoffed

"Dammit Jake learn to fucking listen to me and stop cutting me off, you always had a fucking listening problem. I came here to talk to you about Ace his funeral is being held tomorrow and I wanted you to come because the rest of the gang is gonna be their"

"Rico?" I questioned

"Yes Rico"

"That prick" I said looking away for a second

"He's not a prick it was his family too Jake regardless of what he did don't you think you should pay your dos to him one last time before he's put 6 feet under?" He asked

"I killed him I want him 6 feet under the fuck" I shot

"Listen Jake again, this is Ace you had plenty of good times with him before you decided to kill him. So just come to his fucking funeral Jake and you can get out of this while gang shit. We're parting ways Jake and this is one last goodbye which is a sad one but it's a fucking goodbye"

Snake walked off the stairs fixing his leather jacket. He didn't turn back and he got into his black tinted windowed Lamborghini. I couldn't believe he wanted me to go to his funeral. I killed that asshole for a reason and Rico he's got another thing coming.

I slammed the front door and everyone looked up at me. Rico had Nevaeh on his lap. I wanted to talk to him. I was furious I couldn't believe he went behind my back and talked to Snake about going to his funeral. After all he's done.

"You get the F over here" I shot

Rico looked worried and he knew I knew something that he didn't want me to know. He gave my daughter to Grace and followed me downstairs. I paced around for a second before I leaned against the couch.

"Something you wanna tell me Rico?" I asked

"Uh no"

"Uh no that's a fucking lie Snake just told me something on the porch and I wanna know"

"Wait Snake was outside" He said shocked

"Cut the shit Rico I know you agreed to go to Aces funeral how could you do that after she raped my girl?"

"I know I'm sorry, but that's the last time we're ever gonna see him or anyone else didn't he tell you that was the end of the gang"

"That's such a fucking lie, you believed that? He told us that so he could suck us back into the gang. I don't want to go their and see Ace in his casket that I put him in I killed him for a reason and I dam well don't wanna visit him one last time" I sneered

"Bro I know what he did was fucked up but don't you think if you do this one thing he's asking for he'll finally leave us alone?"

"No Rico I don't how stupid do I look?" I said puzzled

"Dude I know that's not what I mean. I just mean this was our family pay some of our respects no?" He questioned

I thought about it for a second and I know I had a lot of good times with him and shit but that was my family and that was the gang. They were their for me and Ace was a good kid before he did that. I gotta do what I gotta do I guess.
