Chloe’s POV

We. Had. An. Intense. Night.

Intense, yet, no feelings. Yes, Railey was kissing me; however, I still feel unloved. That was just a kiss, not love. Sana hindi lang ang ibigay niya sa akin. Sana pag-ibig na rin. Ow. This thought sucks. I never had any chances of thinking this way. Ngayon lang ako nagkaganito, and I sort of hate this.

“T-Thanks,” he uttered. Railey is still with me. Sabay kaming umuwi dahil inihatid niya ako sa bahay. Actually, nagpunta lang kami sa bar to release all the tensions and stress we had.

A lot of people are asking kung bakit raw ang bait sa akin ni Railey. Nakakainis ‘di ba? Dapat bang masama lagi ang treatment sa akin? Nakakapikon rin minsan.

“You’re always welcome. J-just… enjoy,” sagot ko sa kanya. I know that he’s referring to the favor I gave him ngayong gabi. Favor na pabor rin naman sa akin. Bumabalik na siya sa dati. Bumabalik na siya sa pagiging wild and hot niya. He is always calling me whenever he needs me.

Taliwas sa pangrereject niya sa akin noon, para siyang maamong tupa ngayon. Tama nga sila, life is really a roller coaster. Pero for me, life is like a ferris wheel. There is always a favorable time for you.

Heto na ‘yung chance. I’ll definitely grab it.

Nakarating na kami sa bahay ko. There, he was just staring at me. Without saying any word, I know, he must be feeling sorry for himself. Kahit hindi niya sabihin, ramdam kong he still have something for Rebecca.

“I know what you’re thinking,” I said. Madilim na ang paligid. Tanging ilaw na lang sa tapat ng pinto at buwan na lang ang nakatingin sa amin. Nakatayo lang kami. Parehong may hinihintay.

“No. Chloe. I am done with Rebecca. Last year ko pa sinabi that I will never court her again. Everything’s done. I don’t deserve the treatment that she’s been giving me.”

Now, I am earning the seeds which I patiently planted. This is the best line I hear from Railey. Heto na ‘ying pinakahihintay ko—ang magsawa siya sa paghabol kay Rebecca. I know, he’s still going to chase me.

“You’re right. You’re genius for thinking that. Alam niyang hahabulin mo siya, kaya mas lalo ka niyang binabalewala.”

Inilapit niya ako sa kanya. There, he whispered, “Thank you for helping me to forget. But for now, I don’t offer any kind of relationships,” and then he kissed me goodbye. “I think that explains everything.”

“Just don’t chase someone who’s not after you. That sucks,” I replied.

 

Lee’s POV

“Louise,” I called her when she got inside her house. I have a duplicate key which was given by her parents. Kaya naman, I can managed to get inside whenever I want to. But, I don’t abuse this privilege. I just go here for important reasons.
