Amy's Point of View:

I wake up, opening my eyes just for them to close all over again after seeing the light of the sun brightly shining across my living room. I feel the weight of an arm across my waist and squint my eyes open to begin following it and thankful to see Mark on the other side of me. My head is pounding and stomach is in knots. "Morning" Mark says against the back of my neck and I can't get a response out before getting up and hardly making it to the bathroom before throwing up what felt like everything possible.

"I kissed you and you spent the night and not even two buttons on your shirt is buttoned and I got drunk and we have hickeys-" I pace back and forth across the living room still in my bra and not bothering to button the button on my pants. "Amy take a breath" Mark says knowing everyones already at the office waiting for us. "I just" I rub my hands on my face, Me talking making my headache worse "I'm embarrassed" I finally breath and stand to look at the mirror by my door to think of a way to cover the obvious thing on my neck. "Why are you embarrassed?" Mark asks curiously "We're adults, We drank, It happened" He's so calm it almost scares me "And we were going to kiss at some point. It just so happened to be the first time you got drunk in L.A." He finishes talking and I laugh covering my face with my hands again. I walk back over to the couch and sit beside Mark. "Are you mad at me?" I ask happy he's not sitting against the sun. "I honestly don't think It's possible for me to be mad at you. We just made out a little bit" He shrugs his shoulders. I lightly trace my thumb over the hickeys on his neck and one on his collar bone "A little bit?" I question laughing a little making him laugh. "The only problem now is getting rid of your hangover and covering these hickeys" He smiles and kisses my forehead in the most loving way possible.

I got to my room and brush my teeth for the third time this morning and gargle more mouthwash than whats probably healthy. I honestly don't care what outfit I choose so I pick the first one I see which is leggings and a sweater with black sandals. For hair I leave it down hopelessly trying to make the love bites on my neck less obvious considering my foundation made them look brighter than before. As I'm putting a black baseball cap over my hair Mark walks into my bedroom with a cup full of what looks like a green smoothing. "Don't question it, Don't smell it, Just drink it" He hands it to me and I take a sip and gag. "What the hell is this?" I try not to raise my voice because of my pounding head. "The best cure for a hangover" He replies and I plug my nose and take a gulp.

The way to the office was quiet and Mark held my hand the entire time as I rested my head against the rest. The only reason I was going into work was to show that I can have fun and work, even though the reality of that is just not very well. We couldn't figure out a way to cover our hickeys so I'm silently praying my cap will work and they won't see Marks. He rubs his thumb across my fingers as we park. I look to my lap and push my sunglasses on further so as little sun gets through as possible. "I promise you it's all going to be ok" I can tell he's smiling at me "Their our friends" He kisses my hand and waits for me to start getting out before he does.

We walk across the sidewalk and Mark unlocks the office door and holds it open for me. I wait for him to lock it back before walking up the stairs with him. "Good morning party people" Ethan chirps happily. I smile and wave still not taking my sunglasses off and sitting at my desk pretending that the noises and sun isn't killing me. "Amy not take her alcohol well?" I hear Tyler ask and I look over at Mark who shakes his head for me. "Tyler what was in those drinks?" I ask plugging my nose again and taking another gulp of my hangover juice. "Three different kinds of rum" He says casually. "geez" I reply and rub my temples. I grab my hair and put it through the hole in the back of my hat before laying my head on my desk. "Maybe you'd feel better if you layed-" Tyler takes a break in his sentence and It goes quiet for a minute. I don't care enough to look up. "What the hell happened to your neck?" He asks and I shoot up and let my hair back down. "I um fell" I reply and feel my ears heat. "On your neck? Jesus amy" Ethan comes over and looks for himself. "ah uh" I reply too scared to make eye contact with Mark. I go over to the couch and try to ignore the questions I'm getting. I cover up with a blanket and try to sleep it off for a while.
