Amy's Point of View:

"Wake up kiddos, It's Christmas Eve" My moms voice comes from above us and I open my eyes to meet hers "Good morning, Amy" She smiles and rubs by head like she did when I was a kid "Now wake Mark up and then go get ready, You two are going to help me today" She smiles at me before moving away and walking to her room. I stretch my arms and poke Mark's cheek, Seeing him move a little as I do so "Wake up" I whisper before pecking his lips. His eyes slowly open and I can see his fuzzy eye site find me "We have to go ahead and get ready for Christmas Eve dinner so we can help mom later" I run my thumb over his cheek before rising to my feet and holding my handout to help him up, This may be harder than I thought.

After folding and putting all the blankets back into the chest, Mark and I finally made it back into my room to get ready. "Ok" I close the door and lean against it "You pick an outfit for yourself while I shower" I nod my head towards him and he nods his head towards me, Signaling he agrees. I walk over to my suitcase and grab my dress for tonight and my makeup bag before running into my bathroom, Closing it behind me.

"Mark" I peek my head out behind the bathroom door, Covering my body with the door. I see his body pop up on the bed as he walks over to the bathroom door "Yes Amy" He questions, I already know he's  going to dangle this favor above my head. I breath out before making eye contact with him "I forgot a towel and you would really be the best boyfriend ever if you went into the hall closet to grab me one" I smile sweetly and he stands for a second before rolling his eyes playfully and walking to get the towel. I breath out and listen for his footsteps coming back into my room with a towel in hand "Best boyfriend ever" I smile, Grabbing the towel from his hand and closing the door behind me. I hear a slight 'ah huh' as he walks back to his place on the bed.

I already know Marks annoyed with me right now for taking so long but I won't allow him in the bathroom until my dress is on and I have a full face of makeup on, I really want to impress him. I hear him knocking on my bathroom door again, Already knowing what he wants "Just a minute" I yell, Finishing up my eyeliner. I hear his footsteps carry him back to his spot and finally finish my makeup up. I pack it back up into my bag and lay it on my bathroom counter before walking to the door and opening it up to revile myself  "Told you it would just be minute" I watch as he stands from his place and walks over to me. He takes in my whole body as he walks and once he stands-in front of me his hands go to my waist "You look beautiful" He smiles making me smile. I kiss him slowly but only let it last for a second before patting his chest and making him pull away "Go get ready and tell me when you're done" He walks away from me and into the bathroom, His eyes not leaving until the door closes behind him.

"Where did you get that dress?" My moms eyes rack my outfit as she opens the pantry door to get me an apron "I know I didn't buy it for you" She smiles and hands me my apron, Moving back to her last unfinished project. I move over to the sink before turning the tap on and washing up "Actually got it from a little shop in L.A." I finish washing and dry my hands, Tossing the paper towel into the bin "It was called hit or miss" I continue to smile, This dress makes me happy. "Well sweetheart" She walks over to me and rubs my head "You look beautiful" She kisses my forehead before we separate and begin to work on this dinner.

Mark may have looked at us funny as we told him to get the christmas tree and put it up but thats tradition, This trip is filled with tradition he's going to have to get used to. When my mom was growing up she told me her family didn't put up the tree until Christmas Eve and she brought that tradition down to us and now it's our tradition. I watch as mom puts the pie on the rack in the oven before closing it gently. I  hold up my hand "We did it!" I smile widely as she gives me my requested high five. I walk into the living room and watch as Mark struggles to put an ornament up high enough. I giggle to myself as he turns around to face me "I would have you do this but you look too pretty" He huffs and tries again to place the ornament on the tree. "You two go touch up before guests arrive" I turn to see mom wiping dust on her apron, Careful not to get it on her outfit. Mark puts the star on top before putting the box in the hallway closet and following me to my room.

"You'll love my family" I help him as he tries to tie his tie "Their all super sweet and stuff"I laugh and actually begin to help him than to rather watch him. "I hope they like me" He smiles and I can tell he's watching me. "They'll love you" I pat his chest as the doorbell goes off and his eyes widen. I grab his hand and lead him to my bedroom door "Lets go meet the first set of extended Nelsons".
