Chapter Forty Eight.

Amy's Point of View:

     Now that I have completely screwed my sleep schedule, I am awake at 3am while everyone else is soundly sleeping. Mark finished editing a while ago and decided to take a shower. Apparently while he was finding clothes he slammed a drawer and woke me up, I decided to go into my room and haven't gone out since. It's actually kinda nice to be up at night alone. Everyone else is asleep and the world seems to be all at peace, Which is nice. I could even hear Kathryn and Ethan come up the stairs together and say goodnight which was really sweet. I'm now watching 'That 70's Show' and trying not to be too loud while doing so because if I'm going to feel dead tomorrow, Everyone needs the energy to put up with me. 

     I honestly do not remember making my way downstairs into the kitchen but thats where I find myself. That happens sometimes when I can't sleep, I get curious and find myself in random places not even remembering how I got there. I sit myself at the table and lay my head down, Thinking maybe a new environment will put me right to sleep. That's stupid. Have I mentioned I screwed my sleep schedule? "Amy?" I hear a soft voice in the doorway of the kitchen, making my head pop up off the table. "Ethan" I slide my hands in front of me before retracting them "Why are you awake at.." I look to the blinking time on the oven "7am". "Couldn't sleep" He runs a hand through his hair and makes his way to the coffee machine "Why are you awake?" He looks behind him at me. "I took too many naps during the day and screwed my sleeping schedule" I half laugh before standing and making my way to the cabinets. He nods his head as the coffee starts to brew. "Here" He takes he mug from my hands "I'll fix you a cup. Go put on a movie or something" I nod before giving a soft smile and doing just as asked.

     "Ok this is weird" Ethan and I both turn our heads to the doorway seeing a confused Kathryn "I know Ethan wakes up weirdly early but Amy you usually don't get up until noon" She half laughs and sits on a chair on the other side of the door. "I actually woke up about eight yesterday night and have been awake ever since" I shrug and take a sip of coffee. "I found her this morning half asleep on the table" Ethan says making himself laugh. "Ok, Amy no naps for you today you have to get lots of sleep tonight because tomorrow.." She got that look on her face, That scary Kathryn look when she's planned something she wants you to get excited for "We're taking lunch to Tyler and Eve's place to hang out with them and baby Blair!" Her smile grows as she looks between Ethan and I. "Thats awesome!" I look to Ethan who looks to share our excitement "I'll stay awake all day and get really good sleep tonight to play with baby tomorrow" My smile grows more. "Why is everyone so excited?" Mark walks into the room, Scratching the top of his head. "We're going to Tyler and Eve's to see baby tomorrow!" I happily announce before standing and going to the kitchen for more coffee. "Amy thats your last cup!" Ethan yells from the living room. "Ok coffee police" I scoff and pour my coffee, Allowing my eyes to glance to the numbers blinking at me. 12.36pm. How the hell did that happen? I roll my eyes and walk back to where everyone has gathered "So" I sit in my spot on the couch "Whats the plan?"

     I finally invested in a full length mirror to go on the back of my bedroom door. I know, Not a huge deal but it defiantly beats jumping and trying to make my entire body fit into the bathroom mirror to check if my outfit is good or not. Since we weren't doing a bunch today besides a few errands, I went with a comfy outfit. Black skinny jeans and a baby pink t shirt with my black sandals, I think this is the outfit I wore on Mark and I's first date. I shrug at myself in the mirror and decide I look decent enough before grabbing my purse off my door nob and making my way downstairs.

     All of us in the car with one another is always an interesting ride. Mark always drives and Ethan always sits passenger while Kathryn and I sprawl in the back. Ethan usually picks shitty music too but today he just played the radio which wasn't half bad. "Why are we going here again?" Ethan turns to look in the back seat. "New borns need lots of diapers, I thought it was a good idea to buy a few more pack and ya know..." I scratch the back of my head and glance out the window "..An outfit or two" I say really quickly before turning back to see the rest of the crew. "What" Mark half laughs and looks at me in the mirror before focusing his eyes back on the road. "huh?" Ethan says right after Mark making me laugh. "Diapers guys" Kathryn looks at me "We're getting diapers" The guys shrug and nod while I silently thank Kathryn and enjoy the silence of the rest of the car ride.

     "Hello we need diapers" Ethan says to the worker standing beside the door. "Ethan we know where they are" Mark walks over and pulls his arm, getting him to walk. "Sorry about that" I smile at the worker before following the rest. We probably look like a group of clowns walking into the baby store. Ethan has to pick everything up and talk about how little and cute it was. "What size?" Mark raises his eyebrows up at the package before putting it back to the shelves. "I hope its a while before you have kids buddy" Kathryn pats Marks shoulder and walks past him, Picking up the newborn pack and placing it in the cart. I look to the ground and try to laugh quietly. "What else did we come here for?" Ethan asks as he climbs into the cart, Sitting down. "Ethan you're going to break it" Kathryn pulls his arm slightly and he gets out. "Lets stroll through the baby clothes, Just to see" I shrug and try not to act how excited I really am. "Sure why not" Ethan shrugs and I pull the cart around and go to the tiny clothing. If anyone can get me to buy her whatever they want whenever they want it it's Blair. This newborn sure has me wrapped around her tiny finger.

Sorry about that. Another bland chapter because I need fillers to get to the stuff I have planned that I really really hope you enjoy.
