Amy's Point of View:

I don't think I could be more excited if I tried to be. I woke up an hour before my alarm even went off and since I don't have to get ready or anything I had no other choice but to lay in bed and stare at my ceiling. When it was time for me to get up and change out of my pajamas I rushed around, Even though I didn't have to, and got ready within five minutes. My outfit I choose whenever I'm flying is defiantly more comfort over style. This time its a grey sweatshirt and black leggings with black sandals, So I can easily slip them on and off through security. As I look at myself in the mirror behind my door, A knock shakes my excited thoughts. My door begins to open and I move out of the way and look at Mark in front of me "Good Morning" I cheer, A smile not leaving my lips. "Good morning" He looks around my room, Probably confused by the clean room, Made bed, and cheery attitude "I didn't expect you to be this awake a five thirty" He makes his lips into a funny shape. "Well" I look down to my outfit and around my room "I am" I smile even larger, Making Mark smile. I'm so ready for this adventure.

"LAX please, Sir" I slide across the seat in the uber and tell the driver our destination. I hear the trunk close and soon enough Mark slide in the seat beside me. "About a half hour drive" The driver types in the LAX address into maps "What time is your flight?" He turns around to look at us, Even he has a smile on his face for being an early morning uber driver. "Seven" Mark looks up from his phone and looks at him. "Oh you have plenty of time" The uber driver turns back towards the wheel "Enjoy your ride" He puts the car in drive and looks in the rear view "If you want to take a nap, I'll wake you once we get there" He looks back at me in his rear view mirror and I smile at him. I don't know if that's creepy but I'm too happy not to. "Thank you" I say and begin to look out my window at the fuzzy trees passing us. As the drive continues everything begins to look the same. The concrete walls preventing the cars from crashing off the side of the highway are all the same cream color and the black pavement under our tires is the same black pavement we always see. The trees have a little variety within them with the different greens but all in all, The same. I turn my head to look to Mark, beginning to hear the light radio playing throughout the car. Mark leaned his head up against the window, Probably doing the same thing I was doing at first but now he's fast asleep. I smile to myself and hold his hand, Giving it a slight squeeze.

"Thank you!" I wave at our uber driver as I pass his car on the way into the airport. I see him push his giant glasses back up and wave back to me just as I enter the airport. "He was nice" I smile and look up at Mark "I like little old uber drivers" I continue to walk into the airport. I know Mark can hear me but for now he's too focused on finding our airline and getting into that line. "Ah ha" I hear him say, Making me look at him. He begins to walk and stops when we get into the Delta line. It's not too long which is actually sort of surprising considering most people fly early in the morning. After a few minutes of standing I plant myself on my suitcase and lean my head on Marks side. I hear him laugh as I do so but he doesn't make me move so I assume he's ok with it. "Taking the next guest here please" I feel Mark move, Making me stand up. I follow him and roll my suitcase up to the counter. The sleepiness hitting me.

Security and bag checking wasn't too bad. We were very patient and didn't complain to where people could hear us. "I can't believe my bag was overweight" I hear Mark grumble under his breath, Making me laugh to myself. My bag was two pounds under the weight limit and Marks was two pounds over the weight limit. I was just as shocked as he was. We were also defiantly those people who opened their bag right then and there and moved stuff around so it was safe to check it. We  have a little bit of time before our flight boards so I made Mark get me a coffee from the Dunkin' Donuts on the other end of the terminal, Good thing he loves me right. I sit in the uncomfortable chairs beside the window, Watching our backpacks and also the sun continue to rise in the sky. We've gotten lucky so far and haven't had any delay announcements so lets continue to hope that continues. "One iced dark roast, Cream no sugar for lamey nelson herself" I hear Mark beside me and turn my head to meet his eyes. "Thank you" I give him slight stink eye as I take my cup from his hands. He sets the little brown bag on the edge of my chair so he can set down without dropping anything. I take a sip of my coffee and continue to look out the giant glass window beside me. Now we wait.

"Remember passengers, If the fasten seatbelt sign is on that means you may not stand from your seat and you must have your seat belt fastened for your own safety reasons. If an unfortunate event does occur, Place your head between your knees and look to the ground" I listen to the lady over the intercom of the plane give us the rundown of everything we should do if anything were to happen. I sit beside the window and Mark got the middle seat because he didn't want me to be sitting beside a creepy old man if a creepy old man so happened to have the seat beside us. "Ready?" I look at him, A smile appearing to my face and not caring about my sleepiness. "Always" He takes my hand from my lap and brings it up to his lips giving it a peck before intertwining our fingers and placing our connected hands back on my leg. I don't think I could be more ready for this trip.
