Chapter Ten.

Amy's Point of View:

     Waking up in my own bed in my own apartment all by myself is so under rated. I forgot to close my curtains before going to sleep last night which now I'm happy I did because the sun is shining brightly through the window. I sit up and look out at the sunshine before getting up, Brushing my teeth and hair, then going back to lay in bed unplugging my phone from the wall. Two notifications appear when I press the button to turn the screen on. 

Little blue boy: Tyler and I are trying to plan a team lunch. You in? 

Stone Face: Team lunch?

I reply to Ethan to ask what time and get up to get ready going to my closet and grabbing a towel before making my way to the bathroom and turning the shower on. The ring on my phone goes off and I press the button once again to see what the notification is. 

Little blue boy: 12:30. Jane's. 

I reply with an ok and smile thinking back to Mark and I's first date at the designated lunch spot before getting in the hot shower. 

     I laugh at myself as I parallel park in front of the large windows of Jane's. I hear my back tire scratch across the curb before stopping the car and looking in my mirror to see if I was out of the road enough not to bang up my car anymore. 'Good enough' I nod my head before touching up my red lipstick and gathering my things, Making my way in Jane's. 

     "Good morning" I say as I walk up to the table where the crew is already sitting "Sorry to be the last one but I had to parallel park and you guys could imagine how well that went" I sit besides Kathryn and put my purse on the back of the chair. "Don't worry we saw" Tyler says laughing at me from across the table "And we laughed" He finishes continuing to laugh making making the rest of our friends laugh. I mock him talking, laughing a little and opening my menu just before a pretty red headed waitress comes by to take our drink order. "Hello, My names Eve" She smiles and holds the tray against the front of her "Can I start you guys off with something to drink?" She continues to smile as we order and laughs when the guys say something stupid. When it's Tyler's turn he smiles larger than all of us and stutters on his words as he orders his water. She walks away, Her smile finally fading as she  looks to the floor. "Ohhhhh" Ethan Rubs his elbows against Tyler's side causing Tyler's ears to turn Red. "Go for it man" Mark says from the other side of Kathryn. Tyler shrugs his shoulders as Eve comes back around with our drinks. "Are we ready to order lunch?"Eve asks getting out a pad of paper from the back pocket of her ripped white wash jeans. We all oder a variety of different breakfast and lunch foods. She gets to Tyler and looks him right in the eyes, He wasn't expecting it and they made eye contact causing Tyler's ears to turn more red and stutter on his words. She laughs  at Marks remark after our orders are taken and slips the note pad back in her back pocket. 

     Our food arrives and is passed around and we have conversation while we enjoy our late lunch. Jane's is almost empty and we're the largest and probably the loudest group left. The bills are passed around and I argue with Mark because he grabbed my bill before I could. He finally wins and I roll my eyes and laugh as we make eye contact. We set the bills in a stack at the end of the table before standing up and heading outside. "Hey guys, I think I forgot something"Tyler says and heads back into Jane's. "Wanna look through the window and pretend to talk?" Kathryn asks and we all run to the window to look inside. Tyler's standing at the cash register talking to Eve. "She's smiling. Good boy Tyler" Mark says pressing his eyes to the glass causing a bonk noise. We see her get an old order sheet and a pen to write something. "Alright bud!" I say a little too loudly earning a few shushes. Eve hands Tyler the old order sheet and walks out of the cafe with the biggest smile I've seen since I moved here. "Look who has a date tonight" Tyler says as he meets us outside. Mark and Ethan get super excited and give him high fives and pats on the back before I walk up and hold up my hand before jumping up and trying to hit his hand. "Ass" I say as he refuses to lower his hand so I can give him a high five. "I say we help Tyler get ready" Ethan says moving his fingers together in front of his face. "I may be out of the dating loop but I'm not that out of the loop" Tyler argues and we all look at him with raised eyebrow look. "Oh my god fine. My dates at eight, She told me to pick her up around then. You guys can come over to help around six thirty or seven" Tyler laughs and we all celebrate making him laugh more realizing we probably look like a circus standing on this sidewalk. 

    All of us meet at Tyler's around the same time standing at his door all together. Ethan knocks on the door because he's closest and Tyler opens it no more than a few seconds later. "Bud, What are you wearing?" I ask making my voice loud since I'm in the back. "My date shirt" Tyler responds looking down at his silver button up. "No you're not" I reply patting his chest and making my way through going in his apartment. "Where are you guys going and what are you planning to do?" Kathryn asks as she sits beside him on the couch, All of of sitting in his living room. "We're going to get food at the Chinese place down the street from the office then we're going to hang around the swing area on the beach" Tyler smiles finishing his sentence. "What are you, Freshman in high school?" Mark asks making all of us laugh. "What's wrong with my date plans?" Tyler raises his voice a little. "Considering it's too late to change them, Nothing, Come on lets go get you ready" I say and start walking towards his room. 

     "I think we should tame the hair a tad more, He channeling lion vibes" Ethan Says standing next to Tyler in his bathroom mirror. Mark gets more style gel and slips it through his fingers running it through Tyler's curls. "Am I done yet?" Tyler whines. "Don't be such a baby" Ethan says mocking the tone of voice Tyler just used. "Guys seriously I have to go pick her up" Tyler says as he sneaks out of the bathroom. We made him look vey nice. Grey button up shirt with dark wash jeans and all black shoes. We were able to tame his curls making him look very cute and with a finishing touch, Made sure he smells good because that will defiantly score you lots of points on a first date. "Ok, Few things before you leave. Do you have your wallet?" Mark asks seriously, Tyler answering with yes. "Deodorant?" Mark asks again making Tyler annoyed. "Yes Mark I have everything. Thank you guys for helping me get ready and all but I seriously don't want to loose points for being late" Tyler says as he slips his phone into his pocket opening the door. "Have fun"Mark says. "Make good choices" Ethan yells. "Don't forget to hold the door open and open doors and make eye-" Kathryn's advice gets cut off by the door slamming shut. "Awe, My little boy grows up so fast" Mark says beginning to fake cry and Ethan joins him. I walk behind them and gently pat their backs trying to be comforting. "I need new friends" Kathryn says making us laugh as she gathers her things. 

I'm really sorry I didn't update earlier:( I got my braces off today(hurts like hell by the way), It was my moms birthday, I procrastinated until about an hour ago to do my math homework(It's two thirty in the morning), I haven't even began to memorize the prologue for Romeo and Juliet which I have to recite in class tomorrow, and my school laptop is broken which means I can't do my english assessment or the homework or take the teacher surveys the schools currently sending out. I know this chapter sucks and is very poorly written but please bear with me. My life is going to calm down here shortly and my normal updating will return. I hope some of you at least enjoyed this shitty update.                                                                                                               xxParks
