Amy's Point of View:

I don't think even in college I was this excited to go home and visit my family. That may be because I found my major incredibly interesting and didn't want to leave it or it may be because at that time my brother had a weird girlfriend that smelled vaguely of parmesan cheese. The world may never know. I helped Mark pack his suit case yesterday but failed to remember that I still didn't have mine packed and ready for our seven am flight tomorrow morning. Looks like I have my days work cut out for me.

"Why are you packing all jeans and coats?" Mark throws my brothers old baseball up in the air back and forth between his hands. "Because it's December" I walk out of my closet carrying two more coats and walk over to lay them gently on my bed. "Why are you bringing so many coats?" He throws the baseball up again, This time it lands on the bed and rolls in front of me. "Because it's December" I say in a duh tone, Picking up the baseball and tossing it back to him. "Why don't you bring some t shirts" I place my shirt that was just in my hand lazily on the rest of my clothes and look up at Mark "You never know what Ohio weather is going to be like" He looks at me like he just reviled the medication for a fatal illness. "I have a grand idea" I pick up the shirt I just put down and fold it "Why don't you pack us some snacks for the flight?" I look at him and he shrugs his shoulders and hops off the side of my bed. "Sure" He walks to my door and begins to open it. "Remember Mark" I turn to look at him "No liquid" I smile, Making him laugh before he walked out my door. Now, To pack in peace.

I packed up most of my suit case. The every day items I will need for these two weeks ahead of us. After a while I decide I need a break before I pack my makeup and curler and chargers and things of that nature. I grab onto the handle at the top of my suit case and drag it to the end of my bed, Leaving it open so I have no excuse to not finish packing tonight. When that's done I pad across the floor to my door and decide to visit with Kathryn, Knowing it's going to be odd to to not see her for two weeks straight. "Hello" She perks up and spins her office chair around when I walk in. "Hello" I close her door behind me and walk to sit on her bed "I can't believe this is the last day we have all together before vacation" I smile and so does she. "I can't wait to go back to Boston" Her smile grows "My mom is flying out to meet me there for a girls trip" You can see the excitement on her face when she mentions her mom. When she went to college her mom was super proud and excited but Kathryn's mom believed she would come home after that, When she didn't they got into a argument that lasted a few months but I'm happy their over that now. "That's so great Kathryn" I'm happy to see her and her mom becoming close again "Tell me the agenda" I rub my hands together making her laugh and she begins to tell me the things they have planned. All throughout her telling, Seeing the joy on her face.

"Knock knock knock" I knock my knuckles against Ethan's door before opening it all the way. Kathryn said that she needed to pack and so did I but now I'm not in the mood so I came to Ethan's room to have something to do. "What happened now?" He sits up on his bed and crosses his legs "Spider? Need food?" He almost laughs at his own lame jokes. "Why do you think I need or want something every time I come see you?" I walk over to his spin chair and set myself down "What if I just want to visit one of my lovely roommates who I love so much" I smile and raise one of my shoulders. "You don't want to pack do you" He looks at me for a second and I somehow remain a straight face. I decide theres no point in hiding it anymore "How'd you figure that" I breath out and smile a little. "Because I know you do things last minute" He looks at me for a second like he's trying to figure me out "Always" He nods his head and checks the clock on his window seal "You have twelve hours before you get on that plane tomorrow" He looks towards the door. "Now is that how you treat company?" I stand and put my hands on my hips "I just wanted a loving best friend" I laugh at how ridiculous I'm being. "No" He shakes his head "but that is how I treat and wrangle one of my best friends" He laughs at our bicker "Go pack Amy" He smiles at me as I walk myself out his door. No excuse not to pack now, Huh.

At 10pm, I am finally finished packing two weeks worth of clothing and products. Who would have known that it's so difficult to do that. I zip up the zippers on either side of my suitcase and make them meet in the middle before pulling my handle and causing my suitcase to fall off the end of my bed with a clank. I pull the handle up and roll it beside my door, Right under my light. I turn back around and look around my room, Wondering what else I need to pack for the trip. When I remember I walk to my closet and grab my small faux leather black bag to put my laptop, A camera, Extra batteries and memory cards, and chargers for my laptop. After putting all of that into the bag I set it on top of my suitcase and walk back over to my bed, Climbing in between the warm sheets. I lean over and plug my phone in before getting myself to sleep. Thinking about the adventure ahead of us.

This chapter was written at 12:40am and probably sucks. I felt the need to pre write a few chapters tonight so 1) I don't post them super later like I would if I would wait until the day I have to post and 2) I have no idea what this week holds so It's better to have a few written already so I don't stress about having to write when I know I have plans later that night. Did that make sense? Probably not but what can ya do:) I hope you enjoy this read.                                             xxParks
