Jane

After speaking with Aubrey he took it upon himself to hire top notch security for us. In the past Colson has never needed his own personal security team because his fan's are really cool. He's been lucky enough to have fan's that treat him like a normal person. Despite hiring security Colson moved back into the main house with Casie and me. He refused to leave me and Casie at the main house without him.

He still felt like he needed to protect us. He was being super overprotective but he had every right to be. After Gina fucked up my car we had no idea what she was capable of doing. The police still haven't found her and since we don't really know much about her there's no way to locate her to make an arrest.

On top of all of that Colson doesn't trust Ben, one of our security guards. When Colson wasn't around Ben would often make a pass at me. I didn't notice it at first until Colson pointed it out to me. Now everytime Ben makes a flirty comment I blow him off and make sure that he remembers that I am a married woman.

"Mom, spring breaks like next week. Can we go somewhere? All the kids in my class are." Casie asked pulling me away from my sketch pad.

"I don't know Case. With everything going on we really can't. Daddy's still working on his album and..." I trailed off

"Well we could go without him. Maybe even go to Nashville. You always promised me you would take me." She begged

"I know honey but your dad's not gonna let us go anywhere anytime soon."

"But that's not fair. Just because some crazy lady ruined your car I'm being punished!" She pouted

"Casie it's not even like that."

"That's how it feels."

"Jane, maybe you should just take her." Colson interjected as he entered the room.

I couldn't even believe he just suggested that. I've barely been able to go to the grocery store without him attached to my hip. Let alone to a whole nother state.

"Casie could you please go to your room?" I asked

"Can I take Gunner outside instead?"

"Sure but ask Mike to go with you." I said

Colson and I waited til she had skipped away. Opening the door letting Gunner out while pulling one of our security guards out with her.

"You really want us to go? Without you?" I questioned

"Yeah, I mean, I'd rather you not but what can I do? I have to go to New York next week to meet with Puff and a few artist to work on some features. I don't wanna leave you guys here. I know your probably sick of seeing me and I don't have the heart to make you guys go with me."

I wasn't sick of seeing him. Things were still just tense between us. Colson was staying at the main house but we weren't sharing a bed because Colson still wanted me to have my space. So he slept in a guest room. We acknowledged  one another but we basiclly tip toed around each other. Like we did before we got back together.

"You have to take at least one of the security guards with you though. I'm not just gonna allow you guys to go without one." I stated

"And why not? Do you really think Gina would follow me there? Nashville is home for me I know I'd be totally safe there." I reassured

"Are you fucking kidding me right now? You're not safe anywhere." He spat

"Colson we can't keep being so paranoid. She's more likely to follow you anyways."

"Oh yeah then how come she followed you to New York?" He shot back

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

"When you went to New York a few months back she was there." He revealed.

I confused. Why did she follow me to New York and how did he even know that? I didn't even know!

"Remember the flowers that you got?"

I was starting to remember. The flower bouquet was so huge that I couldn't really see her face. When she delivered them I just assumed they were from Colson. I didn't even question it when he was surprised to see them. Why had she done that? Was she planning on doing something to me that night? Or was she just trying to see how close she could get to me?

"So your telling me she did that? She brought flowers to my room and, and." I started hyperventilating

This was just too much. She had literally been stalking us for months and we didn't even know it. She could've been following us everywhere we went and we wouldn't have noticed it. Just the fact that she has been that close to me more than once was enough to make sick to my stomach. This bitch was a complete and total psycho.

"Jane, calm down. You've got to breathe baby. Everything is gonna be ok. I've got you ok." He said holding me in his arms.

Colson

I knew I shouldn't have said anything. I never should've told her. But she had to know just how much danger she was really in. I didn't know Gina had delivered the flowers. At first I though Drake really sent them and Jane didn't wanna tell me because she knows I'm still kinda not a fan of his. It dawned on me after the whole ultrasound tech thing that she was probably behind the flower thing too.

We weren't safe. We were the furthest thing from safe. I couldn't imagine letting her or Casie out of my site for a few hours let alone a week. What made things worse is that I would probably  have to send Ben with her and I fucking hated him. Since we've hired him I've watched as he has flirted with Jane and undressed her with his eyes.

Of course Jane was so clueless. Jane has never been aware of how attractive she really is. Even while pregnant Jane can still turn heads. Ben was completely aware of are marital problems and he was trying to use it to his advantage. Too bad for him Jane didn't even pay him much attention. I've caught him a few times making slick comments when I'm not in the room. He would say how beautiful she looked. Or how if he had a wife like her he would never let anything happen to her.

Now I was starting to get mad just thinking about it. There's no way he's going with them to Nashville. I'm making Mike go if I can help it. Casie loves Mike. He's great with kid's seeing as he has 3 of his own and 1 on the way.  His job was to sit outside of Casie's school and montier things until school was over and then drive her home. Yeah he was definitely going with them.

"Dad!"Casie ran in with tears running down her face.

"Casie what's wrong? Where's Mike?" I asked as I ran to her.

"He's, he's gone." She cried

"Who? Mike? Calm down and tell me everything."

"What's going on? Where did Mike go?" Jane asked as she ran over to us.

The other two guards that were in the house quickly ran outside to see what had happened.

"Not Mike." She hiccuped,"Gunner, he's gone." She said as she tried to calm down.

"What happened?" Jane asked again.

"We were playing and Gunner ran into the woods after something. I called his name and he never came back out." She hiccuped

"See I told a dog was a bad idea." I mumbled.

Jane glared at me like she was gonna cut my dick off.

"Its ok. I'm sure he'll come back." She said as she comforted her.

The guards all came back in and said there was no trace of him and that maybe he would show back up. I could only hope that he would turn up soon for Casie's sake.
