I returned to my room and allowed sleep to take me.
Or at least I tried.
Olivia finally had friends other than me...
Yet, why did I feel bad?
Shouldn't I have been happy?
Did being upset make me a terrible friend?
I wish I knew what to do.
The door knocked me out of my thoughts.
It was Ryan.
"You're still not asleep?"
I sat up straight.
"No, too much on my mind."
He sat down on his bed.
"Does it have anything to do with you leaving?"
Laying down, I closed my eyes again.
"Yeah, and it's bothering me that I did that."
A snicker escaped his lips.
"Seems that you have a case of jealousy."
I bolted up from bed.
"Why would I be jealous?"
He sighed.
"It's obvious that you like her."
"Her, who?"
He narrowed his eyes.
"Don't play stupid. I'm talking about Olivia, who else?"
My face flushed.
"I do like her, but only as a friend."
I put my head back down and covered myself in my blankets.
Olivia only saw me as a friend...
If I dared to tell her the truth then she would hate me, wouldn't she?
