"Do you see Olivia as a replacement for you sister?" Jason questioned. "Or is there another reason for why you seem to care so much?"

My face flushed. "No I don't. I just care for her as a friend. What other reason would there be?"

He scoffed. "You're making it rather obvious. But don't think that I'll lose to you."

I curled my hands into fists.

Not understanding what he could possibly be trying to get at.

"I'm going back to sleep. Take good care of her for me. I mean us."

He narrowed his eyes.

"You did that on purpose. Didn't you?"

I shook my red face.
