Alex was not a native of this world.

This planet called, Naibu.

He wasn't even from this universe.

We had met back when my parents were still alive.

When I was nine.

We had met in my country.

When we first met, Alex assumed that I was girl.

I still remember the day that he confessed to me.

Never before had I laughed so much.

"Reminiscing?" the healing girl asked.

My face felt warm.

"Yeah. I was thinking of my younger sister."

"You have a sister?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, her name is Ad..."

"Is the food ready?" Olivia asked, barging in.

My face grew warmer.

Why did she have to see me?

Dumb girl.

Now I could never marry.

"Something on your mind?" she asked, serving herself.

I sipped my broth and placed the plate on the sink.

"Nothing," I squeak out. 

Damn, I managed to talk normally to her before.

Why was it that I couldn't anymore?

She crossed her arms and smiled.

"Well, I won't question any further."

She ruffled her long, silky, black hair.

I grabbed her by the arm.

"Let's go talk," I ordered.

"Hey!"

"Quiet down. I just need to talk to you about something, okay?"

"Hey," Alex said, walking into the kitchen with the others. "Where are you going?"

"I need to discuss something with her," I responded, running upstairs.
