We left the gymnasium and headed to our dorms to grab our stuff.
"Where are you going?" I asked, glancing at Olivia.
She looked down.
"I'm not sure. I still didn't find what I was looking for here."
"And what would that be?"
She bit her lip.
"A way to help my dad regain his sight."
"We got spells that can heal lethal wounds but few that can fix illness."
"My dad didn't lose it to illness. Fixing it might be easier if he did. He used a spell, and the cost was his sight."
"There might be some stuff that can fix that," Elliot said. "Kind of like the potion I gave you helped your prana expand."
She smiled. "I hope so. I assume that you got nothing in your arsenal?"
He shook his head. "No. Diseases that affect the organs are difficult for magic to cure. No one knows why, but it might be tied to the Magicae organum itself being an organ."
"Thanks."
I grabbed her hand, interlacing my fingers with it. "If you want, I'll help you find something."
"Me too!" Elliot said. "I... don't think it's time for me to return to Xeleria just yet."
"In that case, I will too," Alex said.
"Count me in too!" Isabelle yelled.
Olivia smiled warmly.
