Episode 92: Family Reunion (Olivia)

The wind blew gently as we stepped out of the plane.

Waiting for us was my mom and siblings.

"Olivia!" Mother yelled, running over to embrace me. "You don't know how much we've missed you. How have you been?"

"Stressed, but after a nice vacation I feel relaxed."

I glanced around the runway. It was empty. "Where's dad?"

"He couldn't come. He said that he didn't feel very well."

"Oh."

Mother smiled as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

"You'll see him soon."

Elliot nudged me forward.

"You heard her. Stop standing around. Your father is waiting."

He had a sad smile, as if thinking about his own family.

Poor guy. It's bad enough to be nations apart. It's another thing to be in separate worlds.
