I returned to the shack and jumped into bed.

"What's up brother?" Elliot asked, staring at me from the other bed in the room.

"It's just... that girl is infuriating at times."

"You mean the girl at your blind date? Wait, you know her from before?"

My hand ran through my long black hair. "Not her. I'm speaking of Olivia. That girl is very unaware of others at times."

Elliot chuckled. "Yeah, she can be. Actually, she can be pretty unaware of herself from time to time too."

"That artless girl ought to raise her awareness, at least of herself."

"Yup!" he responded with a grin.

"Why the smile? Also, when are you going to ask her out? If you don't then another will snatch her away. Do you not care enough to make a move?"

My little brother shifted away. "I told Alex and you multiple times. I don't like her that way."

I recalled what I had seen when I arrived earlier in the day.

"Oh really? You don't care if Alex kissed her?"

Blankets flew into the air and fell on top of me.
