Jason put a hand on my shoulder.
"You should rest. Tomorrow we should head out."
"What? Why?" I asked.
He avoided eye contact.
"It's too dangerous to stay here."
I scowled.
"Please try to be more specific."
"I'm not all that sure about it myself. I just feel that something bad will happen if we stay here for too long."
"Uh. Alright," I responded.

"You can't escape," a voice called out. "Your power shall be unsealed and the world shall fall to its knees before your power."
"Who... who's there?"
***
I gasped and screamed.
"I..."
"Are you alright?" Jason asked, barging into the room.
Close behind were Alex and Elliot.
"I had a nightmare," I responded, touching my sweat covered forehead.
"Want us to stay here?" Elliot suggested.
Alex elbowed him in the stomach.
"You're a guy and she's a girl. You can't stay in a girl's room."
"Oh right."
Jason shook his head.
"You're right, Elliot. One of us should accompany her."
"You mean one of us guys?" Elliot asked.
He nodded.
"And I mean keep watch outside."
"I'll be fine," I affirmed. "I don't need you three to be my body guards."
Jason sighed.
"That dream of yours is a bad omen."
"It's not!"
"Maybe it is," Elliot said, tilting his head. "My mother once told me that dreams can give insight into the future."
