Episode 70: Interrogation (Thalia)

I opened the door to the dungeon beneath the castle.

In the first, and only occupied cell, was my brother.

"So you're here," he said, grinning. 

He stared at the anti-magic handcuffs on his hands.

"Tell me, who is it that you're working for?"

"Hahaha!" He stood up from his bed. "You actually think that I'll tell you? You're not only a sorry excuse for a mage, but also an idiot."

I gripped my hands together. It would be foolish to have allowed him to get the better of me.

"Stop trying to dodge the question. Answer me. Who gave you the power to go toe to toe with Mother?"

He sat back down on his bed, his icy-blue eyes observing me closely.

"No one that you should care for."

"Then... tell me at least what you mean when you called Olivia a witch."

"So that's her name. Who would've thought that I would find our target so easily. Hahaha. The ice goddess must be smiling at me today. First I got some of mom's power, and now I accomplished my real mission. Well, sort of." He jumped out of his seat and released a wave of ice. 

"What? This is impossible!"
