Dan changed his channel name. He is growing up guys. The fetus I found doing videos with his best friend about llamas, placenta, Malteseors, existential crisis, and everything I knew about him went down the drain.
He's not that little kid anymore guys. He's 25 now, and has grown up majorly. Yes, I am disappointed BUT more so happy for him. He's finding his way through, and he is finally happy about himself.
To his subscribers and his Phamily he will always be danisnotonfire. But to the world he will be Daniel Howell. His name danisnotonfire was a funny thing he created back in 2009, and it was great. The lights and stars of the old Dan and Phil were amazing, they are what saved me on the first place. But change is also good.
New house, new name, new brand, same Dan. He is still our Dan guys. Be proud of him. He has tried for years to find who he is, and I think he's found it.
Brighter clothes, curly hair, piano, happiness, his new branding is starting and shinning. This is what we have asked for, for a long time and now that we have it and people are complaining with the hashtag #NotMyDan well he is you Dan. He just grew up.
So, to me he will always be danisnotonfire. The memories will always be there and I'll always use them to remember him. But they don't stand for him anymore. Danny is finally happy guys. Let him live his life how he wants, it's not like he is quitting YouTube.
