*DISCLAIMER** Ok listen before you start, I have an urge to write this and I've had ideas on this one for a while but I've never actually put it down as a story. So here it is. It's a phan oneshot (of corse, what else) and you don't have to read it if you don't want to. Now, here we go.

No one knows exactly how this started, (except Dan of corse) or when Dan started feeling hatred towards this wretched holiday, but boy does everyone know how he feels about it. All his parents remember is one day their son waking up on this day, looking happy as ever before the day flew by and he came home an absolute asshole. Maybe it was from what happened durning the school day that drilled in the anger toward the little holiday, but he refused to talk about it.

It's not that he is scared, he just hates talking about it. He was about 11 at the time, and had woken up on a bright Monday in a good mood. He skipped around getting ready for school, and hopped down like a bunny for breakfast. His parents were big supporters of this holiday, because that's when his dad proposed to his mum under a willow tree. His house was always decorated in pink and red decorations, cute heart lights and heart candies spread about. Dan thought all of it was a bit much, but he never complained.

This week was special. Because at the end of it, dan was going to have the girl of his dreams.

He had it all planned out. Talk to her every day, get to know her and prove that he was as romantic as ever, and then once Friday comes, he would do something romantic and sweet before asking her out. His plan was inspired by his parents of corse. Asking out his crush on Valentine's Day. His parents were proof that it worked.

So, all week Dan got dressed up to the max and left his house with confidence.

By the the end of Thursday, dan was sure everything was set in stone. Everything was going exactly as planned other then Becky acting non-interested. But Dan was sure that was just his imagination. So when Dan crawled into bed, early, so he could get ready in time to arrange the flowers his mum had gotten for him for Becky to perfection, he was confident.

He woke up at 5am sharp by springing out of bed 5 seconds before his alarm. He dashed around his room, putting on a black and red flannel, accompanied by black skinny jeans. He made sure to remove every curl from his head and brushed his teeth 4 times.

His mum had prepared him a lovely plate of pancakes and bacon and eggs, (the pancakes were strawberry and shaped like hearts with chocolate syrup) and he scarfed it down quickly before putting his plate in the sink and running to arrange his roses.

He rearranged them about 7 times before dubbing them perfect and running to grab his bag.

As he waited for the bus, unable to keep the smile off his face, he caught a glimpse of a new car pulling up to the house across the street. His curiosity got the best of him and he walked down the drive way to peer around the neighbors fence to see. About 4 houses down, there stood a moving van and the new car. There were people carrying boxes into the house, along with furniture.

Dan watched as a boy with black hair and black rimmed glasses walked around the corner of the truck and grabbed a box to take inside. He was wearing plaid pajama pants and a dark blue t-shirt with some sort of design. He looked about Dans age, maybe a little older. In Dans zoned out state, he didn't notice the bus coming and he jumped about three feet in the air when it arose in front of him cutting his view of the new comers.

In his startled state, he almost dropped his roses but managed to catch his balance and scramble onto the bus.

His day was a celebration of love and happiness. All day, his teachers were shoving drawing sheets and cookies (tho he didn't mind the cookies) and cheesy movies onto all of the students. It was a day of drawing and enjoying the holiday.
