A great man once told me, "learning music is like learning a new language."
What would that saying mean exactly?
How would it have effect?
Well, I have also asked these questions.
And I have come to believe that very statement.
If you ask a common person, one might say music is their savior. As that may be true, do not forget the ones to create it.
Everyone has their own sense of taste. Every style like a flavor. Some appealing, others not. It all depends on the person.
This coming from an artist herself, art is my escape. Yes yes I love drawing. But that's not an artists limits. Most people when they hear art they think of drawings and sketches- but art is so much more.
Yes sketches and drawings are art, but what goes along with it is music and building. Farming and science. Writing and singing. Notes and poems. Art never stops. It only stops once your creativity is gone.
The entire earth and society is one big piece of art. It is God's sketch pad, his book with his pen, his instrument with the sheet music, his seeds with his garden, his blocks with his work sight, his voice with his music, his words a flow. He is the artist, and we are the art.
Take depression and anxiety. Makes you feel like shit, right? It's a mental health issue that effects the brain. Sure, that's what doctors say.
How can you prove mental issues when you feel depressed because of your surroundings?
How can you label something so large, as the same as a mental issue?
People try to get you help. But if you just say it's pointless and was a waste of time, Well it won't do any good if you think about it like that now would it?
If you don't let the advice and help someone offers in, it won't change anything will it? Sure, it will all be a waste. But not because it can't help- but because you won't let it.
People put you down all the time. Don't let them. Why do you let others control your life? Why would you let them?
You won't get anywhere thinking like that. You won't instantly feel better- you have to work too it. You can't simply block everything out and take everything rudely or snap back, because you just play to the other persons wants. Don't let them win.
It's hard cause You love them so You get pushed over easily even tho you think they all probably think you're a nuisance. Why do you depend on their opinions as the only correct choice?
I know standing up to loved ones is hard. But you must learn or you will go no where. If you get stuck in a hole and no one gives you a latter to climb out and you just stay there you will never get out. If you dig deeper you will just fall sooner. But if you dig stairs to climb out then you will be free.
You can't depend on others your entire life. There will come a day you must learn to depend on your self
"How do you depend on yourself if even you let yourself down?"
Well, Get your head out of the gutter, and look to the light.
"Depression and anxiety effect the whole brain. So it's a little bit harder than ya think."
That's the thing. Your letting that thought put you powerless. Once you learn that it does not define your every move, you can defeat it.
Ever wonder why the drugs they give you never work? It's because it all creates an illusion. Makes you a person that you are not. It does not make you 'normal.' What is the term, 'normal?' It is what society tell us, right?
If you think about it, no one is normal. We are all our own person.
Our own piece of individual art with a story..
How about tomorrow instead of being negative and rude, how about complimenting at least 3 people. I dare you all to compliment at least 3 people tomorrow. Spread the positivity.
If you're calling someone out for being stupid, (we all do it.) how about wording it so it's kind and gentle. Not sassy or sarcastic, try being nice. For a change.
I dare you all to spread the positivity. Give at least 3 compliments to anyone tomorrow, even if it's a random person you have never seen before in your life and you pass them in a store. Compliment them on something. And watch their face light up with a smile. You just made that persons day, well done.
Sharing positivity is not only good for others, it's good for the person sharing. Being positive keeps the brain healthy and helps block negative thoughts. It builds your self of steam and helps you to think and be happy. (Proven!)
So, I dare all of you- (yes, you reading this right now) to compliment 3 people tomorrow. (I bet you can't do it. 😏) spread that positivity! Also, leave me a comment afterward and tell me the compliment you gave and the story. I'd love to read it, also I'm hoping to make a chapter with y'all's positivity thread of story's! So if you could please do that, that would be great.
Share this with your friends as well! Message them and dare them to do this challenge. Ask them to send their story of how they complimented the person and what compliments they used. I'd love to hear them!
So, spam this message:
