Ok, so I did find this on Facebook by a girl named 'Enya Savory' but I liked this so I'm posting it.
*WARNING: heck of a long rant*
There's now going to be a new generation of kids who can't say they subscribed to danisnotonfire. They can't say that they witnessed the cooking videos ft. Delia Smith. They can't say "I'm a Danosaur". They can't say they want to grow a fringe and straighten it like Dan does. They can't say they're afraid of whisks because they've been scarred by the video Dan watched. They can't say they know that Dans favorite animal is llamas. They can't do the sexy endscreen dance along with Dan at the end of all his videos. They can't sing along to the Reasons Why Dan's A Fail (Yay!) song. They can't ironically say placenta or say Dans favorite food is maltesers. And one of the saddest ones, they can't say they subscribed when Dan and Phil lived in the London Flat. There's not that much happening in the Phan world but if you thing about it, SO MUCH is changing. Dans hair is curly, he paints his nails, he wears more colorful clothes, he changed his flipping usernames to his full name. He's finally happy with who he is and he is finally expressing himself as a person. Phil is thirty years old. Dan is twenty five. They aren't teenagers anymore. They are grown men. Obviously their branding is going to change. I don't think a single one of you here is the same now as you were in 2009 or whatever. I'm upset about Dan changing his name too. We all know and love danisnotonfire. The phandom is my family. The majority of you are the most sweet, accepting people in the world. These two boys spend their lives giving us videos we want and living their lives to entertain around 10 MILLION people. It is annoying that people are now hating on dan for changing his name. These are mostly the twelvies that joined at the earliest 2014. I have been in the phandom since 2012 and we have grown so much. People need to cool their shit and stop hating on our sunshines for changing. Seriously.
