Laurens's POV
(Laurens nightmare is italicizes)
I stood alone on the battle field, looking around. I was trying to see if there was anyone else around, and there was... Just not alive... There were dead bodies piling around on the ground. I looked around in horror, bodies of all my friends that I fought beside were bleeding out and crying for me to help them. I began to cry, tears rolling down my face and I shook in terror. I shook even worse as I looked down at a hand grabbing onto my ankle. I began to sob as I saw the owner of the hand. It was Lafayette, he had blood running down his chin and tears in his eyes. He was weakly pleading for me to do something but I couldn't really heard him so I bent down to hear him.
"R-Run.... r-run John....!" He whispered before his hand fell limply down. I gasped and choked on my tears.
"John, we can be together now! Everyone else is out of the way! You can be mine now!" I heard a voice saying to me. I looked up and my pupils went small as I saw Lee walking towards me, stepping over everyone and not caring. People cried out in pain as their bones snapped beneath his boots. I shook Lafayette, begging for him to wake up. Lee grabbed me by the arm and pulls me up, pressing me against his chest.
"We can be together, my dear! No one can separate us!" He laughed with insane look. I tried to pull away from him but he pulled me even closer.I woke up, screaming and in a cold sweat. My heart was racing and I looked around. Lafayette woke up and jumped off his cot, coming over to me.
"What's the matter mon amour?" He asked, holding me close. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I hugged him tightly. I didn't tell him about my nightmare, I just had him sleep next to me for the rest of the night...
