Authors Note - I like to show a lot in this story just how much Hope means to Ariana. He has always right beside her through everything. He's never really given up on her and she knows that. But please don't think bad of Ariana. She's not completely over dramatic and she only wants the best for him. So of course the moment he loses all hope for her she goes a bit psychotic. But things will make sense later on. She only ever does what she does for him and him only.

You know that scene in all of those cheesy romantic movies? The one where the boy and the girl suddenly meet eyes for the first time and as the world slows down to a stop in this perfect harmony, they finally see each other for who they truly are. Then just as soon as it had happened, time resumes... and they pass each other as the audience suddenly knows that they are meant to be together.
Yeah, this is not one of those moments.
Snatching my shoulder, he spun me around so that we were face to face.
"Hey I was asking you a question!" He smiles at me with such a charismatic smile. I recognize those hazel eyes shining brightly behind such dark brown hair. I blink a few times... Michael.
Wait... I'm getting ahead of myself a little bit, let's rewind a little.
This day, coming to school was a nightmare. I was closing the door to my locker and as I turned to my right, walking down along the corridor. It was then that I ran into Hope and like always he was surrounded by a large group of people. I secretly wondered to myself what it was like to be liked. No one's ever really gave me the chance. They all ignore me, I was just the invisible quiet girl in the back corner of the room that hangs out with that crazy bitch by the name of Lacey.
But now, I was the girl known as the one that got in a car accident. I try to hide my face as I walked straight past him and even though he didn't even notice me... his friends sure did. Spinning me around, one of the boys (Michael) had grabbed me by my shoulder and that leaves us to where we are now.
"I'm sorry, what?" I ask, shaking my head I was out of it. He flashes an ever so charming smile.
"I was asking how a girl like you can be in such a terrible accident and come back walking perfectly upon her own two feet and needless to say, she is looking as beautiful as always." He winks at me while he flirted.
Behind him I hear Hope scoff, "Yeah, but she must have some brain damage. I mean come on, she had a major concussion."
I shy away from Hopes harsh words, I didn't want to hear it.
"Whatever, so what do you say sweet thing! How about we go and catch a movie later and have some dinner while we're at it where you can tell me all about the crash!"
Surprise suddenly hits me, wait did he just ask me out? "Did you just ask me out?"
"See I told you, dumb as rock now. Anyways Ariana, Get with the program here. If a guy ask you out somewhere that usually means he's asking you out."
I send him my best daggers, I swear if looks could kill he'd be dead by now.
Suddenly the guy before me, well Michael (from whom I recall, he used to be a close friend of mine back in my middle school years) turns around as he starts at Hope. "Man, why are you being such a dick to her?"
