Looking up at the stars he strokes my hair silently...
"Don't stop, please... it's interesting." I can't help but smile at his words. I wonder... just how long has he dreamed of something like this? I know he's always wanted to know, but I've always been too scared to tell him.
"Hm, do you remember any dreams you had while you were in the coma?" Suddenly his hand stops, it's hesitant before it begins to move yet again.
"Not many actually, but oddly enough I do remember having this reoccurring dream about you singing. It was quite funny actually, you were like a rock star and you would always reach out and grab my hand. It felt like you were singing to me, but you would always sing the same song though." He laughs to himself silently...
"It's actually quiet embarrassing now that I think about it. But that song... I remember the words slightly, but it was something like take me home... keep the nightmares out. Um, another one about not everyone is perfect but that every-"
"Everyone's to blame..." I whisper and suddenly he stops stroking my hair altogether. His hand falls limp and I reach up to hold it.
"Wait what?" He whispers, as I play with his hands I then get an idea and I sit up to get a better look of him as I stare him in the eyes.
I begin to sing, "All that you rely on and all that you can save. Will leave you in the morning and find you in the day."
His mouth hangs slightly open from surprise and I place my finger underneath his chin to close it for him. "Bet you didn't know that I used to sing to you each and every night... now did you?"
"No... I didn't." He coughs slightly.
"I'm surprised you actually dreamed about it. It makes me rather happy." I blush so softly.
                              "So... you sang to me?"
"Yup, I sang you many songs... I sang to you "In my veins" by Andrew Belle, "Home" and "Candles" by Daughter, some Taylor swift songs. I sang a lot of songs to you all of the time."
"Ha ha, then why haven't you sang to me lately?"
"Because you haven't asked, anyways it wouldn't be as special if I just sang anytime you liked." He smiles mischievously at me, then pretends to pout at me.
"Your a tease." I can't help but smile and wink at him as I fall down next to him.
"What you gonna do about it?" I smile and he just shakes his head.
Suddenly he leans down over me and takes my breath away, he kisses me so suddenly I barely even have a moment to think. He wraps his arms around me as he lays down next to me upon the roof.
"Make you continue." He whispers when he pulls away, he's starring into my eyes so intensely. Now he's moving close, my heart rises within my throat.
                              I open my mouth....

"Cause we both know I'll never be your lover... I only bring the heat. Company under covers, filling space in your sheets."
My voice drops out and I stop singing, it's suddenly gotten harder to sing lately... it must be because of how dehydrated I've been. But something about the song causes the desert dry sobs to come.
