Chapter 28: Disaster

"Aubrey your friends are at the door again.." Joshua bluntly says over the locked door. I burry my face on the pillows and pull my covers further over my head.

"Aubrey." He calls my name a few more times before I hear his footsteps make their way downstairs. I don't know... I just don't have the strength to get up my bed. When I'm this upset I always went to Isaiah and he made everything right..

But that's all I picture now.

Him.. pleasing a girl... a girl who wasn't me.

So what now? How can I surpass this? How can I do this without him? He's the father of my baby... the father of his baby... the father of our baby..

I slowly close my eyes as they begin to feel heavier by the second.

The grass was beautifully green. The trees whistled to one another and the breeze was just so warm. I ran to my best friends and smiled.

"Hi guys!"

"Hey Baby." Gissel smiled back.

"Hey darling." Teresa wrapped her arms around me. Lina smiled and paid attention to something behind me.

"Oh lord! Aub- our classmates are looking straight over here." She said. I began to blush but don't look back.

"R- really?" I stutter. Suddenly Teresa continuously slaps one of my arms.

"Ow! What Teresa?"

"He's coming this way with his friends!!!" She exclaimed. I sucked in my breath and waited. Together me and my best friends just couldn't breathe anymore.

"Hey girls." Jeff smiled at us. Lina blushed and waved her hand.

"Hi Gissel." Angel said. Her eyes were glittering so brightly. Austin waved his hand and even Teresa shyly waved back.

"Hi Aubrey."

I open my eyes. The curtains in my room were open. I didn't open them? I then notice the opened door.

Joshua.

I roll my eyes and get up to slam my bedroom door shut. Then I angrily shut my blinds and leave my room dark. I go back to bed and close my eyes and drift to sleep again.

"Baby?" He looked worried. I didn't know why but I nod my head slowly.

"I love you." He gently said to me. Immidiately I blushed as we stood outside my front door. I went on my tiptoes and kissed him on the lips. He gently has bit my bottom lip and I began to shake. Our lips parted and I smiled at him.

"I love you too, Isaiah."

The scene changes and I'm in Isaiah's house.

"Baby, I'm scared." I said.

"Don't be. They are going to love you! Not as much as I do though." He winked and kissed me on the lips. I take a deep breath and closed my eyes as we took a step inside his house.

"Mom! Dad! She's here!"

Moments later his parents walked into the living/dining room.

"My she's beautiful." His mom said to me.

"Better treat her right, mijo [son]." His dad smiled.

We all had a wonderful dinner.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

My eyes suddenly open. It's still bright outside? Felt like I slept for hours.

I check my phone.

What??

I've been asleep for a week?

Well I have been half asleep and half awake while sleeping..

My phone still rings. I look at the caller ID: LINA

I don't want to talk to anyone. If it's about him then no..

Because I know I'll fall apart even more if I hear his name..
