i kid you guys not that in the middle of my slump, i've literally come up with some of the most amazing ideas for new books that i've ever had in my entire life.

ya'll may be tired of it, but i don't even wanna lose the inspiration i have to write. it's always fun for me to create new stories and continue them because i'm excited to continue them, you know? i don't have to feel like i'm forced to do so— i genuinely want to do it.

with this book, as well as caretaker and this new book i'm going to talk to you guys about in a second, i can feel myself wanting to update on the daily. the summer feels have also influenced me, so i'm just.. excited. ✨

one of my favorite authors ever, -youbeendancing , has literally inspired me in terms of 90s themed books. if you guys really know me, y'all know i'm absolutely obsessed with the idea of being born in the mid 80s-early 90s. 😍

the fine men, the lit ass house parties, the music— it was just an era where everything was genuine. everybody worked hard for their shit and wanted to be something bigger than what others thought they were going to be. 💗 it's inspiring, and i just.. sigh. 🤤

i wanna start another book staring Mr. Devante Swing himself because.. who doesn't fantasize about his fine ass? 🤤😍 the crazy thing is that my ex actually looks like him 😭; has me wanting to go back, but i'm not going to play myself.

it will either be about Devante, or Jodeci as a whole— shoot, if y'all want New Edition (BET edition or the OG's), i'm cool with doing that too. 😍 while i'm updating 'beyond the lights: the mini series', y'all should let me know who you guys want a story about. 🤷🏽‍♀️

i don't know.. ya girl is just happy as hell, and i'm discovering new music for myself, and i'm just vibing, you know? music inspires me, period. 😻
