Winter's P.O.V-
I wake up and look around. I'm in my room. The one at the Diaz family's. I see that I'm wearing a tank top and fuzzy pj pants. I get up and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and go downstairs. I don't see anyone though. I grab some cereal and pour it into a bowl. I get some 1% milk because well, it's my favorite. And by the way you might say "eh, There's no difference in the kind of milks!" But guess what! There is so yeah. I hope I made my point clear. I start eating my cereal and I hear footsteps coming towards me. I look up and see a sleepy Jason.
Winter: "Hi Jason." He looks straight at me in shock. Then runs to me and hugs me. He lifts me up and twirls me around, while I'm giggling the whole time. He set my down and looked at me, then my lips, then me. I give him a quick kiss on the lips and he smiles. "What was that for?"
Jason: "You don't remember what happened after prom?" When he says that I frown and try to remember.
Winter: "Oh yeah... um... what happened?" We sit down and I eat while he explains. After he explains I tell him what happened to me before he came.
Jason: "Oh and turns out Tod has a mental illness and he's being treated so everything will be okay. And guess what?!"
Winter: "What?"
Jason: "Your college thing should be coming this week!"
Winter: "Yay, I'm so excited! What about yours?" He turns a little sad but then wipes the sad look off his face and smiles.
Jason: "I don't know when mines coming, but probably soon." I know he's lying but I'll ask him later.
The rest of the day we go bowling with Jason's family. Sophia beat us all by a lot of points but it was still fun. We came home and me and Jason played card games. We said goodnight and then went to our rooms to sleep.
The next day a letter came for me. I opened it with everyone in the room. I knew it would be from the college that picked me so I want them to be there with me.
Winter: "Oh my god! I got excepted from Duke University!" I squealed and hugged everyone.
Sophia: "Wow, Winter! Congrats! Your grades are phenomenal, you deserve this."
Winter: "Thank you."
Me and Jason watch a movie that night and I notice he's very fidgety. He must be hiding something.
Jason: "I love you Winter."
Winter: "I love you too Jason Diaz." I whisper in his ear.
I fall asleep in his arms after little while.
***Okay I'm sorry this chapter was short but I kinda wanted to end it on a sweet note since the next few chapters will take you on the ride of your life! I know I'm dramatic but it's all good peeps!
