Chapter 9- Wake up

Jason's P.O.V-

We waited all day for her to wake up but she didn't. When Suzie got home she was surprised Winter didn't wake up and took her to the hospital. We all knew Winter wouldn't like to be in the hospital when she woke up but she had to go to the hospital.

When we brought her to the hospital Suzie told the other doctors we were practically family and we could know everything that's going on.

Later Suzie came up to us with a file in her hand.

Suzie: "Her file is 10 pages long, which is not good. You guys go to the doctors for your yearly checkups and your files are about 30 pages long. So as you can tell Winter hasn't been to the doctors in about 6 years. Which is bad." She sighed and walked off.

I saw one of my other friends Mike come up to me.

Mike: "Hey man so why are you at the hospital and not hanging with me and the guys?"

Jason: "Winter isn't doing well."

Mike: "Winter? The girl ya push a'round?" I nodded and he laughed. I look at him startled. "Why would ya care 'bout her?" I had to make up a quick excuse.

Jason: "Cuz you know Garret, he always is such a sucker for injured people so he asked me to come." Mike nods.

Mike: "Well you can come now. Can't ya?" I shrugged.

Garret: "No, he's staying here." Garret eyes me. And I know why, he knows about me having a crush on her when we were little but no one knows that the feeling came back. Ugh, I need to tell him, today. I can't keep this secret in any longer.

Mike leaves and I scooch over to Garret.

Jason: "Um... Garret. I have a confession to make."

Garret: "Sure bruh, I won't tell anyone."

Maria: "Yeah me either!" I look over my shoulder and Maria is listening to our conversation so I push her away.

Jason: "No Maria, go away."

Maria: "Nope, not happening." I glare at her and she just smiles.

Jason: "Fine let's go to the boys bathroom."

Maria: "Ok, let's go." She stands up and looks dead serious.

Garret: "That's nasty girl." He laughs a little and looks at me and laughs more. "She's going to make you tell her ya'know." I roll my eyes as he continues to laugh a little.

Jason: "Fine but I swear if you tell anyone I will-" but she cuts me off. "Blah blah blah, just spill!" She says excitedly.

Jason: "So Garret already knows this but I used to have a crush on Winter before she started acting weird. This is the part you don't know Gar." I take a deep breath. "The feeling went away for about a year and then it came back."
Maria says 'aww' then slaps me in the arm.

Jason: "What was that for?!"

Maria: "You jerk! That's for when you and your friends started bullying her!"

Jason: "It's not like you tried to stop it." I fire back and she looks down. "Oh sorry Maria."

Maria: "Nah it's ok, your right. I did nothing."

Just then a doctor rushed to us.

Doctor: "Can any of you contact her mother?"

Jason: "We can but why would we? Her mom is the one who did this to her."

Doctor: "We already know, we have proof. Now please contact her mother!"

Jason: "Wait proof?!"

Doctor: "Yes, now contact her mother!"
I did as the doctor said. BTW my mom gave me Ms.Anderson's number. It rang four times and then someone answered the call.
