Chapter 10- Freak out and Jail time

I thought they would leave soon after Garret but they didn't.

About 20 minutes after though I heard the Doctor telling them something. I couldn't hear what he was saying though. Then he left and they came over to my bed.

Jason: "Knock Knock. Winter? Please can you get out of those covers?" He asked in a very sweet and concerned voice.

Maybe just maybe they are trying to be my friend? I can't just ignore them anymore so I peeked my eyes out.

Maria: "Listen Winter you can tell us your concerns or whatever you'd like while your eating this." Then Jason tried to hand me some chicken nuggets and tomato soup on a tray. I shook my head no and they looked at each other not knowing what to do. The medicine wore off by now and I was back to my normal quiet self.

Jason: "Please." Jason looked at me with pleading eyes, but I just shook my head.

Maria: "Listen Winter, you have anorexia." I looked at Jason.

Jason: "Do you remember when I asked you that and explained it to you?"

Winter: "Yes. I already knew though." They both gasped.

Maria: "Yay, she's talking now." Maria said to Jason.

Jason: "Please Winter at lest take a few bites." I took the soup and both there faces light up with smiles. Me eating makes them happy? Before I took a bite I asked them a question.

Winter: "Why does me eating make you happy?"

Maria: "Because when you eat and talk to us it means your going to get better! And your our friend so we want you to be better."

Winter: "I don't have friends. At lest not since-." But I stopped because no one needs to know what happened to me. Maria gasps.

Maria: "Of course we are your friends! And if you didn't know then we became friends yesterday."

Winter: "I don't remember yesterday. Are you guys actually going to be my friends?" I look over at Jason and he nods while Maria squeals.

Winter: "What?" She looks over at Jason and smiles while he blushes. What is going on?

Jason: "You said you would eat." He says looking at me. I take one bite and try to hand it back to him. He doesn't take it and just stares at me with a frown.

Jason: "You took one small bite Winter."

Winter: "I know, that's all I need." I say and they look at each other again.

Maria: "Winter you need to eat more. Aren't you starving?" I shake my no and they stare at me as I put the soup on the tray that's on a table next to me. Jason picks up the soup and tries to hand it to me but I go under the covers.

Jason: "Are you kidding me? The goddamn covers again!" I here him put the soup back on the tray and sit down.

Maria: "Hey Jason could you go outside for a second?"

Jason: "Sure I need to eat something, want anything from Taco Bell?"

Maria: "2 soft shell tacos please!"

Jason: "Got it. Winter you want anything?" I don't respond so he sighs and leaves. A minute later Maria comes and sits by me.

Maria: "Please come out from there. We are going to talk about Jason."
What did she mean by that?

Winter: "Why?"

Maria: "Because we can." Then she started pulling my covers off me slowly because when they tried before I started yelling. I let her take it off my head and she stared at me with puppy dog eyes.

Winter: "What?" She sighs.

Maria: "You haven't noticed?" I shake my head because I have absolutely no idea what she's talking about.

Maria: "Hey I have a question, remember in 2nd grade when you told me you had a crush on Jason?"

Winter: "You remember!?" I say with shock and she nods her head.

Maria: "So do you still like h-" but she was cut off by my door slamming open.

Mom: "I TOLD YOU GIRL NEVER TO GO TO A HOSPITAL! And especially after what happened on Friday! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?!" The Doctor rushed in a grabbed her before she could tear me apart. I could see the crazy in her eyes and immediately started to tear up.

Winter: "Mom, I'm so so so... sorry."

Mom: "No your NOT! AND DONT YOU DARE CALL ME MOM!" I could tell she wasn't even gonna hide the fact she hated me now. She got out of the Doctors hold and was about to get me but Maria blocked me.

I thought she was going to hurt Maria but instead she was dragged out of the room by Jason.

Well I guess he's back...

Once the door shut I started to cry into my pillow. My monitor started going off like crazy and Maria was rubbing my back while the doctor tried to calm me down. Then I heard it.

Beep beep beep...beep...

and I blacked out... again.

Jason's POV-

I heard someone yelling in Winters room so I rushed in. Once I realized it was her mom I grabbed her and dragged her out. The police came up to me and took her away, thank god.
Then I went and grabbed the Taco Bell and went into Winters room. Her monitor was very slow and I think she pasted out.

Jason: "Was it because of the stress from this incident that just happened that she fainted?" The doctor nodded and looked at the food and sighed. "She would only take one bite but when she wakes up I'll make sure she eats more." The Doctor looks at me seriously.

Doctor: "She needs to eat all of it." I nod even though I don't know how I'll be able to do that.

When he leaves I sit down and text my mom(I call my adopted parents mom and dad).

Me- Hey mom, my friend that's in the hospital just fainted again so I think I'll stay until she wakes up, that's okay right?

Mom- Of course it's okay Jason. Your 18, go were you like as long as you visit me and least twice a week!😉

Me- Lol okay mom, bye!😂

And then I put my phone away and saw Maria right next to me looking at my text.

Jason: "What's wrong with you Maria?! I didn't even hear you sit next to me!" I slightly pushed her away and she giggled. I've known her since my parents adopted me when I was 6 so we're kinda close. Both of our parents are rich and we live in the same street so we see each other often.

Maria: "I was curious ok! Don't blame me." Then she looked at Winter and hushed herself.

Jason: "So what do you want to do while we wait?"

Maria: "Talk."

Jason: "About what?" I ask suspiciously. Maria winks at me and giggles.

Maria: "I bet you will be the first one to make Winter laugh or smile." I look at her confused.

Maria: "I haven't seen her smile like ever. Well ya'know since about 7 years ago."

Jason: "Yeah, I don't know." I say truthfully because I don't know. I have no idea whose gonna make her smile first. I hope it's me and I hope it's soon so I'm going to try my hardest to make her smile.

She only sleeps for 30 minutes and then wakes up.

Winter: "Is she gone?' She asks quietly and afraid.

Jason: "Yes, don't worry." I say reassuring her.

Maria: "Are you okay?!" Winter gives a shrug and We have a group hug. Maria goes to the bathroom and I try to make Winter eat.

Jason: "Please eat." I say.

Winter: "No."

Jason: "Then I'll have to feed you." I say smirking."
