Chapter 28 - Issues

Jason's P.O.V-

I can't believe she said I love you. My heart filled with happiness when she said that. So we're kissing in the middle of the hallway and I know that Lilly could see us at anytime but I honestly don't care, I've been waiting for this. You might think I haven't been doing anything to get Winter back but trust me, I have. I just had to finish it. I'm finished with it now and I was going to show her but then she got amnesia so I had to wait. When we pull away I see her lips are red and swollen. She smiles at me and hugs me. I hug her back and then we go into my room and watch a movie. When the credits start rolling I take out the DVD.

Jason: "I want to show you something after dinner so make sure to wear something comfy okay?"

Winter: "Sure, what is it?"

Jason: "It's a surprise."

Winter: "Yay! I love surprises!" She says and I smile at her cuteness.

Jason: "Wow, really? I've never met a girl who liked surprises."

Winter: "Well than I'm your first. Wait that sounded wrong, I-I meant the first g-girl you know that... um, likes surprises." I laugh and her cheeks turn a light shade of red again. Damn she's almost too cute to handle.

Jason: "Its okay Winter, I get it."

At dinner we tell my family we're back together and they are really happy. After I wait by the door for Winter. When she comes down she has the same sweatshirt on but leggings instead of shorts.

Jason: "Its in the woods in the back so we can walk."

Winter: "Oh no, please don't tell me your going to kill me in the woods." She laughs as I roll my eyes.

Jason: "You won't know unless you come with me." She laughs again and we start walking.

Winter: "So do you guys own these woods?"

Jason: "Half of the woods, yes."

Winter: "Cool."

Jason: "I'm going to cover your eyes so you can't see at first."

Winter: "What? Can't I just look down?"

Jason: "No, it's a surprise."

Winter: "Um... okay but why can't I just look down?"

Jason: "Winter, I love you and I won't let you get hurt. I'm just going to close your eyes for a minute. Do you trust me?" She looks at me and after a few seconds answers.

Winter: "Um... Y-Yeah?" She doesn't sound sure at all which makes me a little sad but I don't show it.

Jason: "Okay." I put my hands over her eyes and start walking to the place. I uncover her eyes and she gasps.

Winter's P.O.V-

Winter: "Wow, its beautiful. Jason. Wow."

I can't believe what I'm seeing. It's beautiful. There is a huge glowing sigh above a tree house that's painted blue that says I'm sorry winter, I love you. My favorite color is blue. He probably remembered from the game of 20 questions. He holds out his hand and helps me up to the tree house. When we get inside I see 2 beanbags and a flower pot of Dahlias. I see a familiar picture on the wall. It's the one Lilly made of me and Jason.

Jason: "You can come here whenever you want. It's yours."

Winter: "You made this? And the Dahlias, you remembered?"

Jason: "Yeah, I remembered." He says while he blushes slightly. I start sobbing and Jason rushes to me. "I'm sorry Winter, what did I do?" I hug him so tight and try to talk through sobs.
