A/N: I just had some minor surgery, so I'm incredibly tired and sluggish. The anaesthetic hasn't worn off, so I'm lying here doing absolutely nothing. What fun. It's slightly better, after it was finished I was like: is this real life? What's my name again?
I'm eating ginger biscuits. I think they're ginger,I don't know. Let's hope autocorrect helps my spelling, otherwise you shouldn't bother reading. I can't seem to work my fingers properly.
********
I had to wait for the anaesthetic to wear off. I fell asleep half way through writing this and didn't wake up for about sixteen hours...

*Music plays*
I opened one of my eyes slowly, not bothering to reach over and turn my alarm off, why did I even want to get up, I don't think I'll bother -
"Wait!" I yelled, finally waking up. "I'm... Dan.... Starbucks... eek!"
I leapt out of bed and dashed into Sophie's room. "Get up!" I shrieked, repeatedly hitting her with the pillow I pulled from underneath her head, causing her to smack her head on her headboard. "We're going to meet Dan and Phil today!"
"Oh my God!" Sophie shouted, dashing towards her bathroom. It was quite surprising to see her get up so fast, she was normally even worse than me.
"Well, I guess she's up," I said to myself, walking back into my room before hopping in the shower.
After my shower, I dried myself, straightened my long, brown hair and got dressed into skinny jeans, a blouse and applied natural looking makeup. Instead of my ordinary beanie, I put a flower into my hair which mached my eyes, as I needed to look my very best for meeting Dan and Phil. Again.
"Gemma?" Sophie called from outside. "Are you done?"
"Yeah," I called back, exiting my bathroom. "What about you?"
"I'm done," she said, walking inside. "You look nice!"
"You look great too, Sophie," I said. She was dressed in black, skinny jeans, a blue t-shirt and a black cardigan paired with blue converse.
"Come on, we have half an hour to get there. Shall we walk?"
"Ok," I said, leaving our apartment and locking the door behind me as Sophie called the lift. "We can't be late!"
"Definitely not," Sophie said, pressing the button for the ground floor. "What are they like in real life? This is so exciting!"
"They're really nice," I said absent-midedly. "But I haven't told them I know who they are yet. Do you think that was a good idea?"
"I think so," Sophie mused. "At least they think we aren't just the massive stalkers we are."
********************
After we ordered our coffee in Starbucks, we sat down to wait. We were ten minutes early, which was better than late.
"Do you think they will turn up?" I asked Sophie, nervously biting my nails which I had painted green to match my blouse and eyes.
"Stop biting your nails! And, yes, I'm sure they will. We're just early, it doesn't matter."
"Good job we're early too, then, isn't it?" a voice said from behind us.
We both spun around and Sophie let out a tiny squeal. Standing there, was Dan and Phil with their matching haircuts.
"Hey," Dan greeted us as they sat down opposite us. "How are you?"
"I'm alright, thanks," I said as Sophie 'readjusted' her fringe to hide her fangirling.
"You must be Sophie," Phil said, smiling at her.
"Ye-yes, I am," she said, stuttering until I kicked her under the table and gave her a warning look. "Pleased to meet you."
"I'm Phil and this is Dan," Phil introduced them both. I rolled my eyes slightly. No offence to either of them, but how could we not know them with their famous cat whiskers, skinny jeans, matching haircuts, radio one show....
"Gemma?" a voice said, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay?"
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine, I was just thinking," I said, as my coffee was placed infront of me.
"Well, that's great. What do you want to do today?" Dan asked me.
"Ummm...." I said, my mind going blank.
"Wait, can we go to the London Eye?" Phil asked. "I'd like to go again."
"Ooh, Sophie and I have never been. Is it good?" I asked. We had never been on because Sophie was scared of heights, as in she shakes when she is just two meters off the ground. I didn't really mind, but I did want to go on. However, I don't think she was going to say anything this time, no matter how scared she was.
"Well, then, we'll have to introduce you then, won't we?" Dan smiled.
Sophie merely shuddered.
A/N: definitely not my best work, I'm still a bit woozy. Fortunately, my friends were there to wake me up when I fell asleep in geography today.
