A/N: I got into deep, deep trouble today. The worst I've ever been in at my current school.

Basically, the fire alarm went off in the middle or RS, and it was rec by the time we went back in, so I got food from the canteen, yadayada. I left my bag and the laptop I'd been working on upstairs, in the classroom. So, when I went to get it, the teacher completely laid into my two friends and I infront of a class.

Soo... Not to bad so far? Sure, but then she told us to meet her outside the staff room, with the deputy head at one o'clock. I was terrified, but went to see her, of course.

She called us very selfish, ignorant and very stupid, but then threatened us with a conduct mark. In my school, these are like the end of the world or something.

However, she said "I'm tempted to give you a conduct mark-" so I, with my acting skills, recoiled, gasped and generally tried to cry. One of my friends also went pale in the face and shook.

She must have took sympathy on us, as we got off fine! :D however, we decided to prank our friends who had been waiting for us.

We went behind them, they turned to see us and my one friend (who went pale, her) pretended to cry onto my shoulder, as I was shaking and stuff and my final 'bad' friend was biting her nails and shaking her head etc.

They asked us what happened. I said? Suspended.

Now, it was all a prank, we were fine, just a warning. They believed us though, and when we told them we could hardly stop laughing 'cause they were so sweet, all angry on our behalf and comforting.

Now, after that long anecdote, let's actually get onto the story, shall we?

(Sophie's POV)

I raced towards what was clearly the front door. For such a place, it was quite well kept. As I sprinted past the table, I saw a pile of papers.

I grabbed them, not knowing what they were and a basket that was full of food and bottled water.

They came into the kitchen behind me just as I flung a window open.

A yell, something about these papers, running towards me.

I slipped out of an large, open window and started running again.

We were in the countryside.

I had trouble holding the food, water and papers, but they were essential, so I clung onto them as I ran.

A gunshot.

My arm flared on fire, pain white-hot consuming me.

I screamed but ran.

There was a wood only one field away, and I ran as fast as I could towards it. It was my only hope.

Finally, I arrived. Ploughing someway through the trees, I stopped at a tall, sturdy looking one.

I began to climb.

They were behind me, now in the forest.

Standing at the bottom of the tree, looking at me intently.

I continued to climb, but I was hindered by my wounded arm.

I gasped through the pain as a man started to climb after me.

I couldn't decide where this was getting me, but I noticed I was very high up. The branches were much thinner, but I could see where the tree split off into two sections.
