A/N: soooo... I've got nothing to say. My friend (you know, Sophie) visited for a short time while our fathers drunk beer and talked internet cables downstairs. They only had two beers (I think, either two or six as London pride comes in a four pack from sainsburys) but the lounge stunk of beer afterwards. I avoided the smell by returning to my laptop in my room. Purely for the smell, I totally would have socialised otherwise...

(Sophie's POV)

*five days later*

It was getting a bit better. We had all had at least one nightmare, and none of them were pretty. Mine were probably the worst and the most frequent. I woke up at least seven times a night if I wasn't right by my siblings. Only three times or so then.

"What should we do today?" I asked them around breakfast. We had porridge, juice, and berries today. I loved blueberries, so I had nicked most of them after fighting Jason for them.

"We could go through the woods, riding, watch movies, whatever," Ethan suggested. I thought for a while.

"How about you fly us to the sea and we go scuba diving where we did on my 'birthday'?" I smiled.

"OH MY GOD, YES!" Gemma yelled happily, abandoning her porridge and strawberries for favour of jumping around.

"Would Sophie and Luke be able to do that?" Jason asked sensibly. My face fell as I thought.

"I can get hold of a shoulder and arm cast protector in about an hour," David offered.

"Then, GO!" I said, not containing my excitement. I tripped over a stray wire as I bounced and couldn't catch myself.

"Ahhh!" I groaned, as pain flared up in my arm.

"Sophie!" I heard my siblings cry, racing over to me and kneeling on the floor.

"Really, all you ever do is injure yourself," David tutted, as he pulled me into a sitting position and examined the cast. "At least you haven't bent the cast or anything... You'll live. I'm tempted to say you can't go scuba diving, but I'm not that mean."

"Thanks," I whimpered.

I was sat down firmly and told to 'not move an inch' for 'fear of death'. I understood their sensibility but I was too excited to stay still for long.

"Sophie, I told you not to move," Jason said, as I started sneaking off. "We will seriously not let you go scuba diving if you don't behave!"

"Why do I feel like I'm the toddler here?" I grumbled, sitting down again.

"Because you are the youngest. And smallest."

"That doesn't make a difference! Only by three minutes!"

"Does!"

"Does not!"

"Stop squabbling," Ethan told us, trying his hardest not to laugh. "Otherwise... I'll take neither of you. Seeing as Luke can't fly anymore, I'm the one in charge here."

Jason and I stared at him, dismayed. "Pretty please?" I said, fluttering my eyelashes in an attempt to win him over.

"Don't even try to pull that trick on me," Ethan laughed. "Just shut up, stay still and then I'll take you, if David finds an arm protector."

I did as I was told and sat the very stillest I could.

(Gemma's POV)

I was mentally laughing at how Ethan had got Jason and Sophie to behave, but didn't make eye contact as they would be able to tell, and I really had to let the lights be fixed as well as the internet before I could start a prank war. It had taken ages to get the last one sorted, and it was the only planned prank I had. I needed to think of some more, as -

"Gemma, are you even paying attention?"

"What?!"

"Well, guess you're not interested enough to come scuba diving. See you later," I heard David say. When did he get back?

"NOOO!" I cried, throwing myself at Ethan and David, who were the last to leave, and clinging onto their legs. "DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Ethan tried to shake me loose, but I clung on desperately. I was having a laugh, I knew they would take me really, but I wanted to ensure I wasn't under their control as to whether I got to go or not.

David just laughed and bent down to help Ethan prise me off. I hung on, repeating 'don't leave me, don't leave me' under my breath.

Eventually, David poked my ribs and I flinched. A wicked look came into his eyes. "No..." I said warningly. "Don't. You. Dare."

David tickled me and I shrieked, convulsing onto the floor as Ethan was finally released. They tickled me for what felt like forever, before they causally walked out, leaving me breathless on the floor.

I scrambled onto my feet and ran after them, not wanting to be last onto the helicopter. I saw them climb in and I sprinted as fast as I could as the engine roared and they lifted a few inches off the ground.

Jason caught me as I jumped as high as I could as I was running an pulled me inside. "I hate you!" I called to Ethan and David. I heard them laughing evilly. I'd get my revenge... Later.

A/N: this story is just floating along, if you like. There's going to be no more drama. Well... Just one thing. I'm not going to tell you what, of course. You'll have to stay tuned! Because it's the holidays (about time, too) I've got a bit more time around when I'm looking after children (my moms a childminder) and chores (e.g. Ironing, cooking, tidying), so I should be able to finish this story much quicker than I thought! I really don't want to though... Oh well, I'll probably write and write until the point when all the characters are dead, then I'll write about the next generation, then the next, then the next...
