A/N: okay, I'm really annoyed. I had this all written out, it was extra long and I felt like I had done a really good job for once then BAM it deleted everything! Just because I went onto another tab on my iPad! It's just..... Grrrr..... This probably won't be as good. If it isn't, please blame it on my temper.

(Gemma's POV)

When we got onto the London Eye, we managed to have a pod to ourselves, which I was grateful for. I didn't want other people invading on some of my time with THE danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil. I stood by the window and gazed out, taking in the amazing view. It was truly breathtaking.

"Do you like it?" Dan asked joining me.

"It's beautiful," I replied, looking over my shoulder at Sophie. She was sitting down in the middle of the pod, her face pale and she was shaking slightly. I frowned, wondering if I should go over to her. However, Phil beat me to it and sat down next to her. Smiling, I turned back to my conversation with Dan.

(Sophie's POV)

I was absolutely terrified. Ever since I had an accident as a small child that landed me in hospital for three weeks, I had hated heights with my very soul. Whilst I felt bad for never letting Gemma have a chance to come on here before, I couldn't handle it. I was regretting getting on here in the first place.

"Are you okay?" Phil asked sitting next to me, even though he knew I wasn't from my pale face, trembling body and the way my knuckles had gone white from gripping the edge of my seat. I merely nodded, not trusting myself incase I was sick everywhere. That would be humiliatingly mortifying.

Phil placed a comforting hand on my shoulder as he smiled gently at me. "You should have said if you didn't want to come up. We wouldn't have minded."

"It's okay," I said. Suddenly, the pod gave a slight jolt. I shrieked and instinctively leapt into Phil's arms. He held me close until I realised what I had done.

"I'm so sorry...." I trailed off, pulling away from him and blushing until the pod jolted again. I leapt back into his arms as I began to cry.

"Hey, hush, it's okay," Phil soothed, gently rocking me as I wept into his shoulder.

(Gemma's POV)

I glanced over my shoulder as I heard soft sobs. Phil was holding Sophie as she cried into his shoulder. Immediately, I frowned, feeling guilty for not saying anything earlier. Phil caught me looking and mouthed," I've got it." I nodded at him before turning back to Dan.

"What's wrong with her?" Dan said, a bit of concern on his face.

"Ever since an accident when she was a small child, she's been terrified of heights," I sighed, now enjoying this ride a lot less. Dan nodded in understanding and we spent the rest of the journey in companiable silence.

(Sophie's POV)

As we finally reached the ground after far too long, Phil released me and I stood up shakily, apologising under my breath. He just smiled sympathetically at me, concern and worry clear in his crystal blue eyes. Gemma came up to me and dragged me into a nearby ladies bathroom.

I was shocked to see my reflection. My mascara had smudged, making me look like a panda, and there was tear tracks down my face. I looked helplessly at Gemma, who reached into her handbag and pulled out a full make up set.

(Gemma's POV)

Whilst I was removing Sophie's ruined make up and applying new foundation, I thought to ask Sophie to text Dan that we would be out in a minute. I don't think he got the jist of my hurried mutter as I pulled Sophie away.

When I had finished, she looked back to normal. "Thanks," she said, hugging me. I hugged her back.

"It's alright. I'm sorry I made you go up there," I replied, letting go of her. Sophie smiled up at me. She was about an inch shorter than me, and I loved making fun of her.

"Come on, titch," I said, leaving the bathroom and finding Dan and Phil patiently waiting for us. They turned when they heard us approaching and smiled.

"All better?" Phil asked. Sophie nodded, blushing.

"I'm quite hungry," Dan said. "Do you want to go somewhere to eat?"

We all agreed and set off to find a suitable restaurant.

A/N: I was quite annoyed at how bad this was, especially with the fight with autocorrect. Why it invented words like 'wtd' to replace 'at' with, remains a mystery to me...
