A/N: right now, I'm just listening to Troye Sivans 'Happy Little Pill' on repeat. I've kind of already learnt the lyrics. It's amazing - definitely taken the place of Fallen Angels as my favourite song! Well... Maybe.

(Sophie's POV)

I looked around the familiar fields and sighed. "Hurry up, you guys, we're never going to get away at this rate!" I demanded.

Jason laughed and squeezed his heels into Midnight slightly, speeding him up. "GIDDY UP, HORSEY!" I joked.

"Wooooo!" I heard Gemma laugh, and looked over to see her standing up on Rascal's back, riding along with Luke doing the same beside her on Honey.

"Idiots!" I David yelled to them. "You can face Meghan if you fall off!"

They looked at each other and edged backwards slightly. "I bet you I can do more stunts before you!" Luke challenged her.

"You're ON!" Gemma said defiantly, and promptly leaped side wards onto Luke's horse.

Luke growled and jumped onto Rascal, before swinging beneath the saddle so he was underneath Rascal. Gemma observed this and flipped over, just using her hands to grip the sides of Honey's saddle.

They switched horses again and Luke did a somersault before landing - a little awkwardly - back on Honey. Gemma took this as a challenge and did the shoulder stand trick, followed by Luke doing the hippodrome stand and so forth.

Eventually, Luke yelped as they switched horses and fell, hitting the ground with a thud. Immediately, we reigned in our horses to a stop and as David called Honey back, we raced to Luke's side.

"You idiots, I told you one of you would get hurt," Ethan cursed, worry written across his face.

"It's fine," Luke said through gritted teeth. "I'm fine, we can carry on riding."

"You are most certainly NOT fine," David snapped, inspecting Luke's shoulder. Luke opened his mouth to say something, but David spoke again. "Don't give me rubbish, I can tell. As much as I hate you right now, you're still my little brother and I care for you. I don't know why, but just lie still!"

Luke shut his mouth again and flopped back down onto the floor as Gemma, Jason and Ethan tied all the horses to a nearby tree. It wasn't the strongest of trees, but it was the only one in sight for miles.

David was running his hands over Luke's shoulder and asking him what hurt, to move this way and that as well as a few other things.

"I think you've got rotator cuff tear," David declared.

"How'd you know that?" Luke said slowly.

"Well, obviously it hurts, especially across the front and side of your shoulder as well as when you lift it above your head and your arm kind of goes limp when you try moving it back down to your side. Coming from me... That's enough evidence," David grinned. "You stupid bat. That's going to last until Sophie's arms mended."

"But... That's, like, five or six weeks!" Luke spluttered.

"Your fault," David laughed. "If you're lucky, it might only take four. Now.... You'll have to elevate it at night, not sleep on it, don't lift anything too heavy. In fact, don't lift anything at all. That'll really speed the healing process up. Take painkillers once a day and really just rest."

"Ugh... Boring," Luke complained. "Can we continue riding now?"

"Only if you think you're capable of riding one-handed," David said.
