A/N: I feel so jittery, yet I have no idea why. I've tried taking my energy out on computer games, but that didn't work, so I'm now writing this on my iPad instead. As for the chapter I tried to write on the computer, I gave up after 2 paragraphs. It's so much easier, for me, to write on my iPad. Don't know why. Don't ask. Thanks for 500+ reads btw :) I meant to say earlier, but I didn't.

(Gemma's POV)

I watched in horror as my day became even worse.

Sophie fell, arms outstretched, looking behind her. We scrambled to our feet but I slipped on the tiles as one fell loose and Jason caught me.

Ethan, David and Luke lunged for the edge of the roof and Ethan jumped after Sophie, David and Luke not far behind. Jason and I flew to the edge and grasped David's wrist just before they all fell.

It was like something from a movie - Ethan had caught Sophie with one arm around her waist, clinging on tightly to Luke's arm, who had also grasped onto David's other arm. I saw them slipping and knew I had no time to loose.

I quickly left Jason holding onto David, the force dragging him inch by inch closer to the edge of the rooftop. I slid half way down the drainpipe and leaped onto a second-storey window-sill.

The building was three stories high, so they would hardly survive the fall. I reached upwards and could just reach Sophie's waist, therefore Ethan's arm as well.

I fished around in my pockets for something to break the window with, but I couldn't find anything. "Sophie, can you not reach the drainpipe?" I asked her frantically.

"Her arms broken," Ethan replied, sounding slightly strained from holding onto Luke and Sophie.

"I think it was the edge of the tiles," Sophie explained. "I hit my arm when I fell, and it snapped." I could tell she was in pain already, and Jason was sliding even further to the edge of the roof. I saw several Vita et Mors members ascending the drainpipe, but they wouldn't reach Jason in time to give him support to hold my siblings up.

I pulled out one of my knives and smashed the window using the handle, before breaking off most of the broken glass. I climbed into the room and told Sophie to jump.

"Okay," Sophie breathed. I could tell she was nervous, but trusted me.

Ethan let go of Sophie when I told him to and I caught her swiftly, pulling her inside the building.

"Gemma, I'm about to fall!" Jason yelled down to me.

Cursing, I hung out of the window with Sophie using her good arm to support me, her belt securing her to a nearby bookcase so neither of us would fall.

"Ethan! Jump!" I told him.

"Will I be too heavy for you?" He called back.

"There's no time to be indecisive!"

I breathed in and Ethan let go of Luke. I gripped both of his wrists as he fell, and he grasped mine. We all lurched forwards, but the belt held and Ethan climbed into the room.

"Luke, just go!" Jason screamed. I looked up to see he was seconds away from falling, only his legs left on the roof.

Ethan caught Luke and he scrambled inside as Jason and David fell. Between Ethan, Luke and I, we managed to keep a decent hold onto them and hauled them inside.

"Holy..." I barely managed to force out, before I fainted.

(Sophie's POV)

Ethan caught Gemma as she fainted, worn out from today and the sheer shock of everything. David gave me his jacket and helped me secure my broken arm.

"How's it going, lil sis?" Jason asked me, as David adjusted the jacket to tie it around my neck so he didn't have to hold it up and walk along.

"She'll live," David smiled down at me. I hated being the shortest out of the sibling-group. And the youngest. It sucked. But I loved them all. There was perks to being the baby, I could already tell that - they all doted on me. I was 'not' going to take advantage of that.

"Come on," Ethan said, leading us down the staircase outside the room we were in. It looked like either a posh hotel or a block of flats, I couldn't tell and I didn't speak enough Italian to know.

Jason and David smashed down the front door (it needed a key, which we didn't have) and we stepped into the bright sunshine.

Immediately, I found myself engulfed in hugs from everyone I knew. Dan, Phil, Marcus, Alfie, Caspar and Joe were surrounding us, still confused but clearly very relieved to see us alive. I noted that Connor, JC, Kian, Ricky, Tyler, Troye, Jack and Finn were there as well as they had planned to join us for a couple of days or longer. I kind of forgot to make the connection when planning that it was today the contract was up, and they were joining us.

"Sophie," Phil whispered, hugging me very tightly and just breathing while Dan enquired about Gemma's well being. "Did you break your arm?"

"Yeah, when I fell," I said, still noting Jason's protective hand on my shoulder.

Phil quickly scanned me, checking to see if I was alright. I was - battered, physically and emotionally, but I would live - just like David said.

The next few minutes passed in a blur, re-greeting my friends, meeting a few subscribers and socialising with Vita et Mors members.

Gemma groaned and we all looked at her as her eyes fluttered open.

"Good afternoon," Ethan greeted her, smiling at her.

"Humph," she huffed and flopped back down into Ethan's arms. She fell asleep shortly afterwards.

Eventually, the sun started setting. "We should go," I said, looking at the sky. "I'm sorry guys, but I think Gemma and I will be quitting this tour. We'll catch back up with you in a few weeks in London."

"You're leaving?" I heard someone ask.

I nodded slightly. "I'm going... Home."

No one said anything, but I could feel their acceptance of my decision made for both Gemma and I.

Ethan woke Gemma up and set her down. We stood in a line, on top of one of the roofs (Jason gave me a piggyback up) and we saluted everyone in perfect synchronisation.

With that, we turned and fled into the sunset.

A/N: just to clarify, this fanfiction is NOT over yet! There's still all the 'after' parts to go! I really can't believe I've finally got here. I've had this planned for months, and I can't comprehend that I've actually managed to write all this. I don't give this much attention to schoolwork, really.

I've totally got my priorities sorted, haven't I?
