(Gemma's POV)

I traced the familiar path through the woods to the peaceful clearing. I sat down on a log, as always and watched the world go by.

Our lives were moving happily along. Every day, we planned a new adventure - whether it be a meet up, collab, exciting challenge, professional filming, fun activity or helping out, our life was certainly not boring. We had fourteen children under our care, no more planned. We were older, but still young.

I twisted at the sound of almost silent footsteps. Older, but we were still as fit and alert than ever before. Sure, scars both physical and mental remained, but it wasn't as bad. I didn't even reach for the knife at my side.

"Hey." I grinned, seeing Dan walking Yuki, who was growing rapidly. Dan sat down next to me and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Jacob's -"

"In trouble?" I guessed and Dan nodded, smiling. "Typical."

"They're not that bad." Dan waved a hand through the air as Yuki clambered onto my lap. "Sophie's really got them under control." We all took turns on baby duty. It would be four adults, two couples, a day, except if they needed breast feeding... 'Cause that we wouldn't do.

"I can imagine." I giggled. Sophie was amazing at keeping the children on their best behaviour. She was the perfect mom - stern, no messing, but fun and lively. I adored the relationship they had with 'Aunt Sophie', or 'Mommy' to Ash and Anisa.

Ash and Anisa were scarily alike. If they cut their hair the same way, you would hardly be able to tell them apart. They were cheeky but well mannered. Adventurous, too. And totally inseparable.

Jacob was outgoing and confident. He had a tendency to be too smart and plan something, even at his young age. Kailyn, however, was shyer but beautifully mannered and well presented.

Sandra was a leader, that was for sure. While Ash and Anisa led the group of monkeys, she was always there to help out in mischief. Which could amount to a lot with an army of fourteen. Mayra was into all girly things, but always adored what Daddy worked as. Medicine was a career for her. Kierra was still too young to be personality distinguishable, but she slept well. And quietly, thankfully.

Ethan and Eliza's two boys, Chase and Liam, they were peas in a pod. Not as identical as Ash and Anisa, but still similar enough that you had to look to tell them apart. They liked to follow someone, but wouldn't bow down to anyone - they were independent kids as well.

Charity was a blond haired, brown eyed girl who loved all things girly, probably to tease Luke. She would dress in dresses, tights and leather shoes, drap fake jewellery around her neck and play princesses. And Luke had to join, much to our amusement. Luke was a total pushover for her. However, I could tell that she also enjoyed playing online and technology. She was going to be a diverse girl. Max... Yeah, I can't say anything about him. Cute, nothing else so far.

Alec was the eldest of Jason and Caspar's children. He had blond hair and green eyes, so did Josh, the second eldest. They were both clever, cunning, quiet children. Emma, however, was named after the doll... But she didn't get to take Emma Lee as a name, because she was supposed to be Emma Lovell (Caspar had taken Jason's name). To make it a special thing, she was just Emma... Legally, she was Emma Lovell, but we were working on getting that changed. It had been taken to court already, but we had the fact that Theodora was the biological mother, so her last name was appropriate. Emma had blue eyes and dark brown hair.
