A/N: remember to go check out all my friends stories, you'll find them under my followers and who I'm following. I haven't got anything, literally, to say, so I thought I'd say the for the first time in forever (there'll be music, there'll be light, for the first time in forever, I'll be dancing through the night... Got carried away, sorry.

Don't know if I'm elated or gassy, but I'm somewhere in that zone...)

(Gemma's POV)

I watched as we approached the sea and swung left. "Where are we going?" I called to Ethan.

"We're meant to be in Brighton, but I can't land there. I'm going to land in Newhaven Seaplane Base, then we can get a ride or run to Brighton. It isn't that far."

(A/N: for the sake of the story, please pretend it's been built up to fully functioning or something, otherwise it makes no sense as they aren't in the war. Cheers.)

I knew Ethan well enough to know that we would either land there or he would pick a location of his choice, legally or not. We were the type of people to avoid consequences, whether it made them worse in the future or not. We could always hide out for a bit in our house, until we were forced to face the -

"Earth to Gemma? Ethan is minutes away from landing," someone said as a hand was waved in front of my face.

"... What?" I said intelligently.

"We were telling you that we are about to land," David chuckled.

"That also means we're really close to the floor, so we can all jump out and -"

"Lucas Sinda Lovell, you sit down right now, otherwise I promise you, you will wish you never stood up," David threatened as Luke leaned out of the helicopter.

He sat Luke down forcefully in a seat and strapped the harnesses around him, before doing the same to Sophie. They sat there, confused, as David joined Ethan in the cockpit. We heard some faint shuffling and small talk before there was a click. David had locked the harnesses. Sophie and Luke were stuck.

Jason and I burst out laughing at the enraged looks on their faces as they wriggled furiously. The straps wouldn't budge an inch, and they had no way of sliding out with a broken/ hurt arm/ shoulder. I made no move to help them, knowing exactly what David was planning. I think we all did.

"Well, Ethan will let you both go when he sees fit that it is safe for both of you. If he 'accidently' forgets you... That's not my fault. Have a pleasant flight!" David said, saluting them before jumping from the helicopter.

Jason and I hastened to copy him. We were only about twenty feet in the air and not moving as Ethan conferred with the people at the base, so we could land safely.

I barely heard the roar of the air and felt the sting of cold air. I straightened my legs and rolled across the ground in perfect synchronisation with Jason to eliminate the potential damage done to us. I stood up and David led us along, acting like we really hadn't just jumped from a helicopter.

Although we had done much worse things, I couldn't help but feel uneasy for some reason at the people staring at me. I had no idea why, they just unnerved me...

"Are you okay, Gemma?" Jason murmured, bending down to my height. I started.

"What? Yeah, I'm fine," I lied convincingly. Jason gave me a slightly odd look, but we continued to walk along, jogging slightly to catch up with David.

(Sophie's POV)

Finally, a very sulky Luke and I were let free by Ethan, who was laughing at our faces. We stomped along, playing at being really annoyed so they would hopefully feel really guilty.
