Chapter 4- To The Shadows

{Georgina's POV}

~Meanwhile~

I jumped backwards, my arms shaking, and my heart jolting in my chest at an uneven pace. I saw the Christian Umbridge look alike dash into the smoke.

Smoke clouded my eyes, rendering me virtually blind. I tilted my head upward as a rough hand curved around my back. I whipped my head around and slapped at the owner of the hand. I glanced up at the person's face, and realise that my hand was completely dripping in water. Then I noticed that the boy I had just slapped was also soaking wet, and staring straight at me.

"What was that for? Anyway, let's get you out of here. Nico, a hand?" He shouted into the smoke, and a minute figure emerged.

"Yeah, sure. Jesus, look at all the fire. We could really need Percy right now."

I finally got a good look at the boy holding the small of my back. He had sandy blonde hair, electric blue eyes and a small scar above his lip. He kind of looked like superman, but reminded me more of Thor. I turned to my left, just as a boy materialised next to me. I held my hands up, fearing that he was a monster. Thrusting my arms forward, a jet of water burst from my wrists, hitting the boy in the face.

"Sorry, I thought that you were a scary Satanist-hating monster." Instead of the boy growing annoyed at me, he merely looked at me in confusion.

"How did you do that?"

"Do what? Also, what... what's happening?!"

"I mean, how did you shoot the water from your wrists?' He sighed, 'My name is Nico, and this is Jason," he said, gesturing to the boy who was trying to prop me up against the wall. Jason.

"Then what are we gonna do? The flames are covering the near exits." Jason's voice seemed panicked, which I understood, considering the fact that we were close to being burnt to death.

"I don't know, but can we get out of here before we all burn to death, please?" I shouted, my voice raising in volume as I pronounced each syllable. The boy that had been dubbed Jason stood fast, and pulled me up by my arm, apologising as he did.

"Come with us, and we'll get you out of here. I think it's time that you found out a little bit more about your family history,"he said, leading me through the flames. I had always been clumsy, so it was hard to follow Nico through the museum as he danced effortlessly across the floor, weaving in and out of each artefact.

"I can't shadow travel for a few minutes. It drained my energy by arriving here." Nico stated. The three of us stood there for a while, racking our brains, which even I thought was a bad idea.

"Wait, umm, you. You sprayed us with water. Can you do that to the flames?" Nico asked, facing me.

"I can't just control it!"

"Sure you can!" As he said this, rage surged up in me. How dare he just presume that I could do something to his very will. Then, I realised that that had been his idea. Water gushed from my hands, drenching everything in view. I decided not to tell Sofie about that, seeing as she might have gotten a bit annoyed at the ruins being further ruined. I saw it gush over the flames, immediately extinguishing them, and I also saw Nico and Jason, cowering in the coldness of the water. The strange thing was, though, that I was not wet at all. I considered that a good thing, seeing as my phone would have malfunctioned otherwise.

"Okay, Jason, you, come here. Hold my hands." I considered Nico's request a little unusual, but I agreed. As soon as I held his hand, I felt a deep cold emerge from him, which seemed to envelope me. For a second, I was stuck in a black prism of darkness, alone, and totally lost. My panic disapparated as soon as I felt my feet touch the ground again.

I seemed to be in a strange park. Surrounding me were a dozen or so cabins, all different colours. Children, ranging from around ten years old to nineteen, were streaming the place, and most turned to face me.

However, the weirdest thing that caught my eye, was the horse with a human torso, heading straight towards me.
