Hermione's POV
The living room was getting darker and darker, as outside the sun was setting beyond the rows and rows of houses that lined the streets around Grimmauld Place. Along the road, the streetlights came to life, lighting up the desolate park across the road from the house. Harry and Ginny had gone upstairs, Ron was doing who knows what and so was Sirius. So that left me and Draco in the living room alone, I sat reading as he drifted off beside me. I wasn't really reading though, I was watching the sky go different hues of blue, purple, pink and orange, and I was highly suspicious Draco wasn't really asleep but I let him be. Crookshanks came slinking round the corner, I hadn't noticed him around in a while, he was probably wandering round the streets. He rubbed against my ankles as he headed to the other sofa, which he nimbly jumped onto and curled up.
When the sky was finally dark and I could see the moon and stars, Draco sat up slowly. He turned to me, I closed my book and put it down then I turned to face him. I could see the dark circles under his eyes, even in the low light, it was so obvious he hadn't been sleeping. I could see the shadows on his face from where his cheekbones jutted out, so he hadn't been properly eating either. Yet his grey eyes still shone and his platinum hair was perfectly arranged.
"Do you want to do something?" He asked. "Just to get out of this house?" I considered, it would be nice to get outside of this very dark house.
"Yes, but what?" I asked. "I can't be seen or people will be able to find Harry and I can't put him at risk like that." Draco thought for a moment, before he seemed to settle on an idea.
"We can go to a muggle restaurant, no-one will know us there." He suggested, it was a good idea. "Do you have any recommendations of where we could go?" I had no idea about any restaurants near here, only ones back home. But we could apparate to one I knew back in my home town.
"I have an idea, it's quite far away but it's a good restaurant. Is that ok?" I asked. He nodded. I took his arm in my hand, I held an image of the restaurant in my mind and then we had left Grimmauld Place and when I felt solid ground underneath my feet again, we were outside the restaurant. I looked through the window and saw that it was the exact same as the last time I had been there with my parents. I moved my hand from his arm, down to his hand. He seemed a little surprised at first, but then he gripped my hand. I led him to the door before pushing it open, as soon as we crossed the threshold, a tall woman with blonde hair rushed over to us.
"Can I help you?" She asked, enthusiastically.
"Yes, we would like a table for two, please." Draco said, his voice soft. The woman almost swooned at him, giving me a dirty look. I gripped his hand a bit tighter.
"Yes, of course." She said, she picked up two menus from a pile on a table by the wall. "Follow me." She started walking through the restaurant and we followed, before she stopped at a table in the middle of the restaurant, all around us people sat at tables, eating and chatting. Draco pulled out the chair for me and I sat, then he sat across from me. The woman handed us the menus. "I'll be back over soon to get your drink orders." We nodded and she walked away.
"Well, that was interesting." I said, with a smile.
"What do you mean?" He asked, lost. I wasn't sure whether he was really unaware or if it was a joke.
"That girl was swooning over you." I said, with a laugh. "She also looked like she wanted to murder me."
"Why won't you swoon over me?" He said, with a sly smile. "Do you know what would make her want to kill you more?" I quirked an eyebrow. He shifted his chair round the table a bit so he was closer to me. "Here she's coming over." He leaned towards me and took my face in his hands. I also lent closer to him. He pressed his lips on mine, I moved my hands to his face and up to rake my hands through his hair. I felt someone's eyes burning into my back, but I didn't care, it felt like my whole body was burning anyway with Draco kissing me. His eyebrows furrowed as we kissed and I pressed my forehead against his. He bit my bottom lip softly and I opened my mouth, then his tongue moved into my mouth, I hadn't been kissed this deeply before. His tongue moved around my mouth and then my tongue met his. We kissed for a bit longer before I finally pulled away.
"We need to eat." I said, with a smirk as I saw the shock on his face at me pulling away first.
"I think we need to finish that kiss." He responded, his voice sounded kind of hoarse. And I just laughed.
"After." I said, I was enjoying keeping him in suspense. He seemed annoyed but I just turned away to look at my menu. "What are you going to order?" I asked, looking at him around my menu. He studied his menu.
"I think I'll get the lasagna." He said. "I always had a soft spot for Italian food." I nodded. "And you?"
"I think I'll get the burger." I said. "It sounds so good. What do you want to drink?"
"I'll just have water." He said.
"I'm going to have orange juice, because that's my favourite drink." I responded. Then the blonde woman came back around, she did look like she wanted to murder me even more now, if that was possible.
"So, what do you want to order?" She asked. Draco looked at me.
"Should I order for both of us?" He asked, I nodded. "Can we have an orange juice, water, the lasagna and the burger?" The woman wrote this all on her notebook.
"Right, I'll be back soon with your drinks." She said, before walking away. Then, I noticed someone walking towards us from the door.
"Draco, there's someone coming over." I whispered, he looked over discreetly. His face went hard.
"Go to the bathroom, now." He said, quietly. I wanted to ask why, but I listened to him. I stood quickly and went straight to the bathroom.
