Draco's POV

The constant sitting and chatting and reading and doing nothing in Grimmauld Place was driving me to madness. It was nice to finally be with Hermione pretty much all day, everyday without lessons or any other people in the way but the lack of anything to do was not as nice. Oddly I kind of missed having lessons, learning things that would probably be useless to me in later life and I often found boring but now I would never know whatever I was missing in those lessons. I also missed seeing all these different people dressed the same as me even though they were all unique people, now I would probably never see them ever again. These thoughts were just swirling round my mind as I sat sprawled on the black sofa, in the black living room staring up at the black ceiling. The sofa was definitely too small for someone of my height, a large proportion of my legs were hung over the edge. I was wearing a new pair of jeans I had bought the other day and it felt strange to not be wearing a suit around Hermione and the others. But I had to admit I was certainly more comfortable now. However, that was something Hermione didn't need to know otherwise I would never hear the end of it, especially as she constantly questioned my choice to wear a suit.

I didn't even notice her stood in the doorway in front of me watching me, her arms crossed over her chest. She looked extremely like she was judging me but I often felt like she was.

"It's creepy to watch people, Hermione. I don't think you would like it if I just stood and watched you think but then again it doesn't happen very often any more." I said, with a smirk. She walked over to me and sat on top of my legs, prodding me in the stomach. I puffed out a breath in shock.

"Be quiet you, were you ever called the brightest witch of your age? I think not." She said, smirking back at me.

"Well surely, the brightest witch of her age would know she's about to break my legs?" I said, wriggling my legs underneath her.

"Oh my god," She said, her face in mock shock. "Do you want me to hit you Draco? Because you are really asking for it." She shifted herself so she was now even more on top of my legs. Ron then walked in, his face immediately turning to disgust.

"Have I just walked in on something? Could you not do that in your bedroom upstairs?" He said, looking as though he was considering leaving the living room even though he had only just entered.

"Leaving so soon?" I said, with a smirk.

"Yeah because if you did then you would miss this." Hermione said, twisting herself so she was facing towards me. She placed a kiss firmly on my mouth. Ron made a sound of disgust from the door and I could hear him leave but that didn't stop Hermione, she continued to deepen the kiss knotting her hands in my hair, which was quite a feat as my hair was so smooth and straight. I wrapped my arms around her waist holding her on top of me. She nipped at my lip, making me open my mouth so she could slip her tongue into my mouth. Eventually she sat up again, now she was straddling my stomach.

"I like being able to breathe Hermione. So no offence but could you get off my chest?" I said, with a playful smile. She swatted at me but moved down the sofa so she was once again sat on my legs.

"What I've gathered from this, is that you seem to think I'm heavy Draco and honestly I'm pretty hurt." She said, standing up.

"Oh Hermione, there is nobody else I would want to break my legs by sitting on them." I said, with a laugh. She swatted at my leg again, but she was smiling so I knew she wasn't really upset. "I can endure if you want me to but I thought you would rather I was honest to you. Honesty and trust are what matters in a relationship, right?" She laughed at me.

"You're such an idiot sometimes, Draco. Maybe that's why you're not the brightest witch of our age." She said. It was my turn to swat at her with my foot.

"I could be the brightest witch of our age, if I wanted to. But I'm such a busy man I don't have time." I said, lifting my chin trying to seem classy, even though I was sprawled across the sofa in the least classy way possible.

"You keep telling yourself that Draco, whatever helps you sleep at night." She said. "Anyway, I think I would prefer the endure option." She plopped herself back down on my leg and I gasped in shock, from the sudden weight on my legs again. But I wouldn't say a word, she could try and break my legs if she so desired. She laughed before standing back up. "So you can be quiet for longer than a second, I'm shocked. I didn't think it was possible."

"Well then we're a match made in heaven, aren't we? You never shut up either." I said.

"I've got much better things to be doing than standing here and letting you insult me. You have fun with your daydreaming." She said, turning and leaving. I smiled before staring back up at the ceiling. It was quite enjoyable just daydreaming, there was nothing much better to do in this house because I don't think everyone else would appreciate if me and Hermione just made out all the time. If anything I think they would all want to kill us. Then again Ginny and Harry couldn't say anything they were just as bad, if not worse sometimes. It was quite weird to think about Ginny and Harry making out so I rolled over to look out the window instead, the sun was setting now making the living room turn multiple shades of gold and orange.
