Hermione's POV

I backed away from the edge of the bubble of protection I had created, holding my breath instinctively. My hand gripping my wand tightly, I watched them come closer. Voldemort knew, he had felt it but how on earth did he know exactly where we were in the forest. This made me so glad that we didn't do this in the house like I had originally planned. But I hadn't even thought about this, I was worried about the damage it may cause to the house, not somebody coming to find us. That hadn't come to mind I didn't think it would be possible, he must have placed some kind of hex to know where they were destroyed so he could get whoever did it. He was certainly clever, well that was obvious but this definitely proved it. Harry and Ron came and stood beside me also watching the group make their way through the trees.

"It had to be Harry Potter, but he must have gone quick." One of the men said, with a sigh. The sly grin slipping from his face.

"We need to go, now." I said, turning slightly towards them, feeling panicked by the mention of Harry's name. They knew Harry was tracking down horcruxes and that was an issue. Harry was already gripping the destroyed goblet and Ron, the locket. So I just grabbed their hands, envisioned 12 Grimmauld Place and we were gone. When we apparated back into the living room, I expected to scare Draco out of his skin as he spent nearly all his time sprawled over that black sofa. But there was nobody there which put me on edge, he was probably in the house somewhere, he could look after himself and didn't need me worrying about him. "Who on Earth were they?" I asked, letting go of their hands and turning around to them.

"I have no idea who they are and why they were there." Harry answered, turning to look at Ron to see if he knew.

"I heard something on the radio about people going missing but I doubt they would find many people in the forest, so they can't have been looking for people. They must have somehow known we were there, which isn't good because that means he knows about each horcrux we destroy. That means he can get ready while we're still searching, which is really not good." Ron said, looking worried. Lifting his hand to bite at his nails. Even Harry started to look vaguely worried which was out of the ordinary, so I felt even more worried. It would be okay, we might not be ready but the Order of the Phoenix were constantly doing different things, they would surely be ready and all we would need was our wands. I still remembered all the spells we had learnt at Hogwarts, well they wouldn't be that hard to forget, they were simple spells.

"Well if you go put those away, I'm going to see what Draco is up to." I said, turning and leaving the living room and heading up the stairs to our shared bedroom, the only other place I could think he might be. I highly doubted he would be sat in the kitchen with Sirius, that was a friendship that would never happen. They had been in the same room about 5 times in the whole time Draco had been staying here. Malfoy's and Sirius didn't really mix well even though they were related. He didn't get on well with any of his family other than Andromeda, probably because she didn't really get on well with their family either, because she married and had a child with a muggle. Which was against everything their family stood for as pure-bloods. Although Draco might as well have been rejected by his family now, because he didn't serve Voldemort and was dating a muggle. I pushed open the bedroom door expecting to see him maybe sleeping or reading or just daydreaming, which seemed to be his speciality. But there was nobody there, not even Willow. I checked Harry and Ginny's bedroom, Ginny was sat there moving Willow's blocks about on their bed as Willow rolled about. It was a cute scene and I didn't want to interrupt them, so I just backed out of the room. That was Willow tracked down, but where on Earth was Draco? I headed back downstairs, maybe he was just eating.

Draco's POV

I stood at the door of the Room of Requirement, staring at the scrolls and shapes carved into the door, I had no idea how I would be able to sneak out. As students would now be in their lessons, I would stick out like a sore thumb. Especially walking around in my robes because if I was an actual student I should be in my lessons. Then I realised how stupid I was being, the easiest way to blend in without anyone being able to recognise me is to be a Death Eater and have the mask on. There had to be a few with their masks on wandering the castle, I could get out of here. I flicked my wand and suddenly I could only see through small slits. I pulled open the door, quickly exiting before anyone could potentially see me, then mustering all my old confidence I began to walk down the corridor like I owned the place, hoping that nobody would question someone who seemed so at ease. I got a few sideways glances from those without a mask, but nothing else. Holding back a sigh of relief until I was back at 12 Grimmauld Place, I walked out the doors. Listening for the sound of anyone following me to question what I was doing. I couldn't help but speed up as I got closer and closer to the Forbidden Forest, I was nearly out of here and away from these people that would probably now kill me as soon as looking at me for betraying Voldemort. There was a vague shout in the distance but I was past the treeline so I no longer cared. Catching a glimpse of amber eyes watching me through the bushes as I apparated away.
